WARNING: Some Graphic Language
I read occasionally of former Weatherman Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, both now not only accepted, despite their bombing campaign against America in the 1960s and 70s, but successful , establishment educators whose opinions on social issues are taken seriously. Every time I see Ayers name I shudder with fear and rage and realize that I will never be able to erase the mark he left on my life one evening 40 years ago.
It was at the Undergraduate Library at the University of Michigan on a Friday night in November 1965. I was a sophomore and was living in a sorority house -- Alpha Epsilon Phi. I was walking down the stairs to leave the library. Billy Ayers was standing on the first floor and started talking to me.
I thought he was cute. There seemed to be jovial kind of instant connection between us. As I am writing this now I think he must have noticed me before , boys were attracted to me in those days , and planned to try to pick me up. As we struck up a conversation, Ayers told me very quickly about his leftist activism as if he knew this would intrigue me. In fact, I had made attempts to join SDS and the anti Vietnam War Movement on campus during my freshman year but had been put off by what hustlers the young male activists were. They talked in lofty ideological abstractions, but they also used their political sophistication as a lure for young women who wanted to be on the right side of the great social issues of the day. I picked up on that cynicism early and so spent much of my freshman year at Michigan trying . . .

Hannity is covering Ayers tonight at 9:00 on Fox cable.
I was there(not her dorm room) then(64-66) at UM as one of dozens of USAF grad students.
Well worth a separate posting, so I did. Thanks for the heads up!
That SunTimes article is rubbish. It's obviously written by a leftist. It all but dismisses the Ayers angle. Please read my previous posting on Ayers *thoroughly* (it's reply #8 on this thread) and then go back to that misleading BS from the SunTimes.
Thanks, but I think it's a Hannity America's repeat from last week. A new episode of HA comes out each Sunday. In any case, it's certainly worth watching again. The only thing is, NONE of these conservative commentators ever tell the entire story about these things, ALWAYS leaving out the communist connection.
Bill Ayers, April 6, 2008, from his own red-communist-star-headed website:
Imperialism. Im against it, and if Sean Hannity and others were honest, this is the ground they would fight me on. Capitalism played its role historically and is exhausted as a force for progress: built on exploitation, theft, conquest, war, and racism, capitalism and imperialism must be defeated and a world revolutiona revolution against war and racism and materialism, a revolution based on human solidarity and love, cooperation and the common good must win.
We begin by releasing our most hopeful dreams and our most radical imaginations: a better world is both possible and necessary.
Note: Ayers is quite possibly quoting Bob Avakian, chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, with the phrase 'both possible and necessary' in regards to a communist overthrow of the US government. See these Yahoo search results for "bob avakian" + "possible and necessary"
Of course it’s rubbish.
Duh, duh, duh. Isn’t most everything in the media rubbish written by leftists?
It’s what’s being spoon fed to Chicago.
More importantly, it shows that the Obama camp wants to take the Hill right down with them on the Ayers ship.

I agree with you. It is definitely spun to the left by an Obama sympathizer, but it does have some additional info and gets Rick Ayers on the skyline for analysis and discussion.
Just thought it was worth posting for discussion. Also noted the info on how Bill Clinton “. . . pardoned a member of the Weathermen who participated in a heist that left two police officers and a security guard dead, and commuted the sentence of another, and we have yet to hear where Senator Clinton stands on President Clinton’s actions.
Again, thanks for the great reply #8.
Great link for additional info on the Weather Underground. See page 3 of the FBI FOIA (1a).
Home grown terrorists serving a foreign enemy were alive and murdering American citizens long before militant Islam attacked the World Trade Center.
Re: “murdering American citizens . . .
Actually they Ayers’s gang only murdered themselves with a bomb. Of course Ayers is unapologetic for bombing government facilities.
I suspect they would have killed anyone who hinted at opposition to their efforts to destroy America.
Hooray Donna Ron! Thanks for posting. This POS came out of nowhere (an unknown to me) to be in my 1st deck (mentally) of domestic enemies playing cards (which I mentioned on an FR thread yesterday)...AND THAT WAS BEFORE THIS DISGUSTING STORY!
WHAT A FRIGGEN PIG!
Inside the criminal mind BUMP!
Thanks for the debate link pertaining to Barack’s response to George S’s “Ayers” question...(and angelic Hillary’s response to Barack /HEAVY SARCASM).
"In July 1969, [Bernardine] Dohrn, Eleanor Raskin, Dianne Donghi, Peter Clapp, David Millstone and Diana Oughton,... all representing "Weatherman", as Dohrn's faction was now called, traveled to Cuba and met with representatives of the North Vietnamese and Cuban governments."-wikipedia: article title: "Bernardine_Dohrn"
6 March 1970 34 sticks of dynamite are discovered in the 13th Police District of the Detroit, Michigan. During February and early March, 1970, members of the WUO, led by Bill Ayers, are reported to be in Detroit, during that period, for the purpose of bombing a police facility.
6 March 1970 Another group blows themselves up when their 'bomb factory' located in New York's Greenwich Village accidentally explodes. WUO [Weather Underground] members Theodore Gold, Diana Oughton, and Terry Robbins die in this accident.
The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey. The bomb was packed with nails to inflict maximum casualties upon detonation."
The 1981 Weather Underground/Black Liberation Army Brinks Truck robbery and murder:
"David J. Gilbert, 37, rented the vehicle that same day in the Bronx. Gilbert was a long time member of the Weather Underground and a fugitive from the state of Colorado where he faced charges of assault and possession of explosives. The passenger in the front seat of the U Haul was Kathy Boudin, on the run from the law since the townhouse explosion in 1970. The couple had dropped off their one-year old child with a babysitter in the morning and was waiting for the return of the red van."
"In the back of the red van were Cecilio 'Chui' Ferguson, 35, Samuel Brown AKA Solomon Bouines, 41, Samuel Smith AKA Mtayari Sundiata, 37, and Donald Weems AKA Kuwasi Balagoon, 35. There were others present, but it has never been proven who, or how many. All the men in back of the van were members of a group they called 'The Family.' Most of them had ties to the Black Panthers or the Black Liberation Army, radical political groups that had many violent confrontations with police during the 1970s."
"At approximately 3:55 p.m., Paige, a 24-year Brink's veteran and his partner, Joe Trombino, 48, exited the doors to the Mall rolling out the moneybags on a hand truck. They walked over to the Brink's truck and began to load up the bags onto the rear deck. Simultaneously, the red van pulled up and the rear doors swung open. One of the suspects, armed with a shotgun, ran to the front of the truck and immediately fired two blasts directly at the bulletproof windshield. The guard in the front seat ducked just in time and was unhurt.
Another suspect, wearing a ski mask, opened up with his M-16 automatic rifle before his feet even hit the pavement, striking Paige in the neck, arm and chest. He was killed instantly.
Joe Trombino fired just one shot before he was hit several times in his upper arm and shoulder. The bullets all but severed his arm off his shoulder. "I've got no arm!" he screamed. But Trombino would survive that day, only to perish years later in another terrorist attack at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001."
Weather Underground/Black Liberation Army Brinks robbery:
Yes, in that respect it is a worthy read. Thanks for posting.
Having lived through that period, it amazes me that few people know about the Weather Underground. Of course, given the leftist garbage that passes as education these days, it’s not too surprising. But the goal of these people was the overthrow of the U.S. government. Failing that, they would do everything they could to weaken the U.S. And their resort was to violence.
Angelic LOL!! That describes her performance to a T. While she just gliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiided past Willie’s pardon
Osama doesn’t know enough to call her one it.
You are doing good work and thank you. We have to do what the MSM won’t do and I think Hannity is trying but a little timid. Let us watch tomorrow night then and see if Hannity will continue his report.
I think sending a few copies to the powers that be at the University of Illinois might be useful.
The story made me think of the depravity displayed by Bill Clinton telling the woman he just raped - "better put some ice on that lip baby".
Lowlife scum - both of them!
Buy the biggest four tined pitchfork there is, paint the tines red. Find out where this couple from hell lives and drive it into their front door with a note attached saying, “We have not forgotten”.
It is time to give these pigs a dose of their own medicine.
From Allies in War by David Horowitz:
The couple pictured [in this NY Times article from 9/17/01] were Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, former leaders of the 1960s Weather Underground, Americas first terrorist cult. One of their bombing targets, as it happened, was the Pentagon.
"I dont regret setting bombs," Ayers was quoted in the opening line of the Times profile; "I feel we didnt do enough." In 1969, Ayers and his wife convened a "War Council" in Flint Michigan, whose purpose was to launch a military front inside the United States with the purpose of helping Third World [Maoist-communist] revolutionaries conquer and destroy it.
Taking charge of the podium, dressed in high-heeled boots and a leather mini-skirt her signature uniform Dorhn incited the assembled radicals to join the war against "Amerikkka" and create chaos and destruction in the "belly of the beast."
Her voice rising to a fevered pitch, Dohrn raised three fingers in a "fork salute" to mass murderer Charles Manson whom she proposed as a symbol to her troops. Referring to the helpless victims of the Manson Family as the "Tate Eight" (the most famous was actress Sharon Tate) Dohrn shouted:
"Dig It. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victims stomach! Wild!"
