Father, I pray for our President. He is such a busy man and is trying to bring about peace in our time. We know that ultimately peace will be elusive until Meshiach comes; however, we seek to live at peace with our fellow man and believe that this pleases You. May President Bush's efforts, in so far as they represent Your desires, be successful and may we indeed have peace.
I pray for our military. They must be disgusted with how their lives are being used as political pawns. Let them know they are appreciated. Let them know that You are with them. And, let the enemies for freedom, peace, and truth know You are with them. Protect them. Draw their hearts to You. And let the Prince of Peace comfort them in all they do.
Go with us the rest of this Lord's day. Keep us safe and speak to us we pray.
In Jesus' matchless and wonderful name I pray these things, Amen
Sunday call to prayer.
Amen.
Prayers up!
Be pleased, O Lord, with the praises of Your children. Accept our offering of praise and thanksgiving ... accept our hymns of adoration ... may the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, our Redeemer.
We plead the Blood of Christ over our Brother President. May he continually seek Your counsel ... may he walk in your ways ... direct his path, Sovereign God, that he might lead this nation in the ways that You would have us go. Draw us to our knees in repentance for all that is sinful, for we cry out for an incoming President who names You as Savior and Lord, whose heart is ever toward Israel and Your beloved Jerusalem. Let no one abandon our defenders of life and liberty ...grant them successful missions. Cause the peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan to step forward as leaders of their countries, to brightly bear the torch of liberty and freedom. Wherever our military serves, O Lord, let them bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that others might live.
Blessed be Your Name, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, both now and forevermore, Amen ...
Amen.
Joining in prayer.
I join in prayer for President Bush, the Administration, the election and our heroes standing in harm’s way!
