The Siege of Los Angeles
humanevents.com ^ | 04/21/2008 | Brett Winterble

Posted on 04/21/2008 5:39:51 AM PDT by kellynla

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is off his rocker. This weekend residents of Los Angeles waited with bated breath to hear the State of the City Speech from the mayor. Most Angelenos looked forward to seeing the Mayor once again since it had been while: in the wake of a sex scandal he had all but permanently relocated to the Hillary Clinton campaign bus for the last year and a half.

Most residents already knew the State of the City: the City of Angels had become a much harder, more violent place what with the recent murder of Jamiel Shaw by an illegal alien gang member; and the shooting of 2 members of the police SWAT team. The Mayor of LA didn’t see it that way. He had the temerity to walk to the microphone and declare that Los Angeles was “the safest it had been since the 1950’s.” Villaraigosa also declared that hate crimes would not be tolerated in his city. What hate crimes were the Mayor referring to? Was it perhaps the murder of Jamiel Shaw? Or was it perhaps the attempted ethnic cleansing by the Florencia 13 against the city’s Black population? F13 is a street gang made up almost entirely by foreign nationals who have made it their mission to exterminate Black citizens in neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles. It got so serious that the U.S. Department of Justice actually brought charges against its members.

For those who think only of Disneyland, Malibu or Hollywood, it should be noted that the city of Los Angeles, and most of Southern California is on the front lines of a foreign insurgency. Illegal alien street gangs routinely terrorize American citizens on the streets of Los Angeles and surrounding cities.

When you read about Iraq and the Iranian militias murdering Iraqis and are horrified that such a thing can happen know this: that very thing is going on in the streets of Los Angeles. Well armed, well financed de facto militias have taken to the streets of Los Angeles an en effort to seize land and kill US citizens. How did Mayor Villaraigosa react to all this? Does he call for more police officers? Does he offer support to the murdered victims’ families? No.

Instead Mayor Villaraigosa issued a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff asking him to back off of immigration roundups. Thank Heaven that Chertoff and ICE ignored the mayor’s request and conducted immigration raids. The alternative would be to leave the residents of Los Angles in danger of a one-woman crime wave.

The Los Angeles Times recently reported on the case of Maria "Chata" Leon. Chata ran a drug den that terrorized a neighborhood; according to federal indictments she was a woman who trafficked in Tec-9 submachine guns, narcotics and even bombs. The 44-year old Chata, a mother of 13 kids and a Los Angeles City welfare recipient had been arrested 14 times since 1985. 14 times! She had 3 convictions and had been deported twice. That’s right. She was an illegal alien, and boss of a criminal syndicate. In fact, one of her sons had recently died in a shootout with LAPD officers, just blocks from his Glassell Park house.

Chata is just one of the thousands of well armed gang leaders walking the streets of Los Angeles responsible for death, and destruction of American citizens. At the time of her federal arrest, The Los Angeles Times, quoted LAPD captain Bill Murphy as saying, “She's a major problem for the area and hopefully she won't be back again,"

Didn’t he get the memo? LA is as safe as it was in the 1950’s -- just ask the Mayor. Just don’t ask the citizens of LA or the cops on the front lines of the siege.

It will take martial law, a curfew and the CA National Guard to even begin to clean up the mess in the City of Angels. Sooner or later, like every other major city in America, we are going to have to "take out the trash." And another civil war may erupt before what needs to happen does...

As long as the Palisades, Malibu, and Beverly Hills remain safe, what's the problem?

That's where Tony's campaign financing comes from. The people who put this monster in office are the same people who thought that a Tom Bradley would keep peace in the "ghetto," while they continued to run the town.

Armed gangs require pro-active, paramilitary policing, exactly as they do in Baghdad and Basra. You're not going to get it. Instant deportation of armed gang members who are illegals (HA!) is also mandatory. You're not going to get it. Besides, with a porous border and no control over ID, it wouldn't work. Look at Chata. Arrested 14 times, deported several times, and still selling dope and her kids shooting at the cops.

We also need to immediately stop the granting of citizenship to to the children of people here illegally. We are the only country left in the industrialized world that permits this.

The citizens of LA do not have the guts nor the will.... they are pacifists. Thats why this is such an easy takeover. The liberals that run this once great city have driven it into moral and fiscal bankruptcy. They have created a safe harbor for illegal criminals and offered them free handouts at my expense. I am actively looking for another house and as soon as I find it a for sale sign hits my lawn.....

“Somehow I question whether the citizens of LA have the guts to get the job done?”

Excuse me, but immigration and the borders are federal matters and jurisdictions.
If it were up to most Angelenos and most Southern Californians, we would pick up every illegal swinging dick and truck ‘em back down to TJ’s...
BUT, WE DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY!

And even if we did have the authority to deport;
what good would it do as long as the border is WIDE OPEN!

hellooooooooooooooooooooooo...

You must have went to public schools.LOL

“But then again, the citizens of Collifornia disarmed themselves over 30 years ago”

And you obviously don’t know many Southern Californians.

“and are now incapable of thinking in those terms?”

I don’t know what country you live in;
but what you are suggesting is illegal, genius!
And we have a federal department, ICE, that is SUPPOSED to be deporting illegals and a POTUS who is supposed to be in charge of securing our borders.

If we had a POTUS who would have been doing his job for the past seven years; we wouldn’t be in the fix we’re in today.

re: “Note what is clutched in the left claw of the raven.”

The left claw? Both claws hold weapons; the right claw of the raven holds a macana, which is a club studded with (sharp) obsidian. Not only that, the graphic indicates that the macana has been recently used (note the red spots under it, which may represent blood).

So, instead of a weapon and a symbol of peace, the graphic presented shows an eagle, which appears to be breathing fire, with two weapons. Yes, I too think that’s interesting.

I suppose that’s 13 anchor babies. In my old hometown in Oregon last week, an anchor baby lost his life. His mother, in Spanish, told the reporter her son was a ‘good’ boy and had great dreams! He was a dropout at 14 and he and his 13 year old brother had been out ‘hanging’ with their buddies all day, drinking. By the middle of the night, he was laying in the street passed out wearing dark clothes....and guess what, someone ran over him!

50 percent of LA workforce are immigrants

http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Top_News/2008/04/21/50_percent_of_la_workforce_are_immigrants/3251/

Published: April 21, 2008 at 12:48 AM

LOS ANGELES, April 21 (UPI) — Los Angeles is at the leading edge of a U.S. demographic trend, with half of its workforce immigrants, many of them unskilled and speaking little English.

As baby boomers retire, the same pattern will emerge across the country, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday. Demographers estimate that by 2025 most of the growth in the workforce will be from immigrants.

Ernesto Cortes Jr., Southwest regional director of the Industrial Areas Foundation, said Los Angeles is at a crossroads.

“The question is: Are we going to be a 21st century city with shared prosperity, or a Third World city with an elite group on top and the majority at poverty or near poverty wages?” he asked. “Right now we’re headed toward becoming a Third World city. But we can change that.”

The Migration Policy Institute used U.S. Census data to determine that one-third of immigrants have not graduated from high school and 60 percent do not speak English fluently.

Cortes, with former U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros and others, is to participate in a conference this week at the University of Southern California on how to train and integrate immigrant workers.

Well the Bureau of Prisons released a report recently that stated that there are 300K “foreigners” incarcerated in federal & state prisons. It did not stipulate how many or what percentage were “illegals” BUT my position is that why should American taxpayers pay to incarcerate other countries’ criminals. At a conservative estimate of $25K a year, it is costing us SEVEN AND A HALF BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR to do so. Secure the borders and deport the incarcerated foreigners. I'm sure we won't have a bit of a problem filling the empty cells with AMERICAN criminals who are roaming about the country committing more crimes.

This Newsmax piece had it at 270K back in 2003! And, Mexico has the nerve to chastize us for having a death penalty.

I guess they prefer having their criminals return to them when they are in danger of being caught. That way, in order to extradite them, we have to promise not to kill them. Regardless of how many people they have killed.

That’s the other thing that got me banned: discussion of Resendez Ramirez and disputing the claim that ‘the only thing illegals do wrong is being her illegally.’

Kellynla, bcsco, AuntB (I’m always happy to see you around). There are three types of people left in Los Angeles; those that are illegal, those that have symphonized (I’m leaving that with spell checker) with illegals and those that are building arsenals of weapons. While I don’t own any weapons, I know where to go if push comes to shove as I do pay attention to news articles where they talk about weapons cache.

California has gotten so PC I am proud to have a friend that when we go to gun shows, the sellers ask him for advice. What is illegal and when was it made illegal, do my guns that I have are they illegal if I have a receipt when I bought it. What can I attach to what?

We in Los Angeles just love the place. If we could get rid of the illegal invaders we would be as happy as pigs in shit. We can’t think of living anywheres else.

Bravo Sierra! Not as long as half the state is populated with true blue conservative Christian American patriots! What we need is what the rest of America needs and that's conservative law & order leadership! We just need true blue conservatives to "step up to the plate" and run for local, state and national public offices. We need more conservatives to run for governorships so we have a better field of candidates to run for POTUS. And we all need to do all we can to support those candidates. It is a mess. But it's nothing that can't be fixed!

This Marine will not throw in the towel.

"While I don’t own any weapons"

That's a shame, you need one of these:

Bushmaster M4 A3

You can't own one of these in California, you can in Oregon and I love mine. That's one of the reasons I left there!

We in Los Angeles just love the place.

I'm sure you do. But baring a major citizen revolt, which I doubt will happen anytime soon, it would seem the best message to send to the city would be an exodus of lawful, taxpaying citizens. And not just from LA but from California. I wonder whether anything less would be affective.
