What: The D.C. Chapters Tenth Annual Freep of the
White House Correspondents Association Dinner.
Location: Outside the Washington Hilton, Connecticut Avenue and T Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
Our most fun protest every year. This is your chance to tell the mainstream media to their faces what you think about their biased reporting. Youll also be able to meet and thank those reporters who do their job like it should be done.
Our theme this year is An Inconvienent Truth, a typical sign will be

We will have extra signs and an awards ceremony. We will have extra An Inconvienient Truth strips to add to any sign you wish to bring.
A previous report on this annual event is here. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1396792/posts
Be there ping!
could some ping the dcchapter 1 more time ?
DC Chapter ping to MY favorite FReep of the year!
You misspelled inconvenient. Otherwise, it looks great.
I always enjoy the imaginative signs and other forms of harass—ahem—provocation the DC chapter comes up with for this event. Please be sure to post pictures in the AAR!
ok I fixed my misspelling in the graphic.
now I have to reprint part of my signs.
LOL! I guess the best place for me would at home with duct tape over my mouth. ;*)
The confusion between the two played a considerable part in Maryland getting the failed Baltimore mayor as our current governor. Campaign ads and speeches are sometimes written to muddle the concepts making a pres (Reagan) or gov (Ehrlich) who lowered tax rates but increased tax revenue seem like he increased taxes period.
Bring an umbrella. Calling for rain.
You bet! Got the umbrella. Waterproofed my signs. Are you coming?
NO WAY...NO DUCT TAPE FOR YOU!
You go there and yell your curly head off for me.
Not sure until last minute. Depends upon how many guests are at Hershey Chocolate World. I may have to work.
Ahhhhmmm, Welcome to Chocolate World.
Uhhhhh...I don’t think I would be a good mix with the ENEMEDIA! Every DC Chapter rule for protesting would surely be broken within 30 seconds. LOL
But you would be so cute doing it!
Well, the arrest pictures might be a problem! (grin)
Miss you!
That's for sure...BIG TIME!
Think of you often and hope all is well.
Yeah, sorry about that, True. I hope you’re doing well. The sign is great!
I'm not sure if they get shots of the atmosphere outside or not.
Programming Bump!
Watching it live now.

An encounter on Connecticut Avenue
This evening, I attended a reception hosted by National Review in advance of tonight’s White House correspondents dinner. Outside the hotel, I saw protesters holding signs excoriating the MSM for its sometimes treacherous behavior, including the reckless publication of highly sensitive material to the possible detriment of our national security.
One of the protesters recognized me. He was a high school classmate, Steve Rosenthal. Steve had driven up from Roanake, Virginia where he now resides, a four hour trip. Bless him.
Steve introduced me to some of the fellow protesters, who turned out to be from Free Republic. They seemed happy to meet me, and took justified pride in the fact that it was Free Republic (through “Buckhead”) that first questioned the authenticity of the documents Dan Rather used in his report on President Bush’s National Guard service.
However, the blogger they said they really wanted to meet was Michelle Malkin. I don’t blame them.

Interesting. I could hear the ‘you’ but couldn’t make out the first part. Not a lip reader either.
It would definitely be appropriate.
Thanks.
I showed it to somebody today, who pointed out that was 2006, something I hadn’t noticed.
Great post Staytrue.
Like video’s . You did good.
