Well he will not get his raise or his better job. Most likely it was deliberate

the man claimed to have taken [the seven White House blackberries] accidentally. I hate it when that happens.

Nothing good comes from Mexico. A den of thieves and parasites. OK Some good Mexicans live here but they are not God’s gift to mankind. It’s a perverted dysfunctional nation which will soon lose any usefulness to us because they are trashing their oil industry through stupidity, not allowing US firms with superior technology to explore and show how to better extract and pump out the oil

Ahh, but the strawberries that’s... that’s where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I’d have produced that key if they hadn’t of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...
Oh. You said “Blackberrys”....never mind.

So shoot him in a diplomatic fashion.
Dress him in a tux first.
To: Mount Athos
SOB has diplomatic immunity ... so the best we can do is declare him persona non grata.

He’s persona non grata under THAT identity. He can go to any flea market and buy a new one. If he has trouble at the border, he can pay a coyote to shuttle him across so he can do those things he cannot do at home to earn a dollar.

I know a fair amount about Mexico, some of it good, some of it bad. Mexico is a poorly run country. I compare it to what I image a corrupt big city government here would be if it were not restrained by outside forces and by the ability of productive resources to flee the city limits.
Mexican popular culture is taking on many American aspects, both good and bad. They have their version's of our tawdry musician's and our inner city gangs (both have gotten noticeably worse in the last 10 years). On the other hand they also have their version of our Hoover Institute academics.
I remember as a child hearing how all trends (both good and bad) start in California. Mexicans see something analogous.
Illegal immigration could be easily stopped by our government by denying illegal immigrants the ability to work. It is our fault that we allow this to continue.
Stopping it now will be very disruptive and stopping it 10 years from now will be more disruptive. I don't believe we have the political will to bear the current disruption.
I will not comment further on your remarks or why I find them ironic. As political allies we should probably just accept each other with our particular faults.
