Illegal immigration costs American taxpayers $346 billion annually and, besides the well-documented areas of education, jail and medical care, the money is being spent on manpower for overwhelmed government agencies. A renowned economist, who has thoroughly researched the impact of illegal immigration and published numerous reports and articles, recently published an alarming alarming book on the subject. In his book, Edwin Rubenstein exposes the GARGANTUAN COSTS of illegal aliens. The book supports previous reports of U.S. employers of illegal aliens raking in billions thanks to the cheap labor while American taxpayers subsidize the ordeal. U.S. prisons are also overwhelmed with illegals with 147,000 illegal aliens in local jails, 74,000 in state prisons and 46,000 in federal prisons. About 28% of all federal prisoners are illegal immigrants, and the cost to taxpayers is about $5.4 billion a year. Many are repeat offenders that get released into communities rather than deported. Numerous such cases have made headlines because the illegal immigrants had previous convictions yet were released to commit murder, rape and scores of drunk-driving offenses. We had at least two candidates for president, Tancredo and Hunter, who talked about this and look where it got us. Someone here one day told me this issue is barely on the radar of “important issues”.
Personally, I’m mad enough to scream over this. We have been sold out.

None of the candidates are able or willing to fight WOT. The biggest threat to this country comes from open borders and having hordes of immigrants from enemy nations and illegal aliens roam the country. The planes on 9/11 took off not from Iraq but from American soil.

As a defeated Tancredo/Hunter supporter, I couldn’t agree more. They were both prophetic on the issue but, tragically, they were both marginalized by the MSM, the ethnocentric pressure groups, business special interest lobbies (U.S. Chamber of Commerce, etc.) that love cheap labor with no basic benefits, and politicians pandering to the Hispanic vote. And what burns my hide is that Tancredo had the best rating by the American Conservative Union. I also blame the RNC and George Bush and Carl Rove who wouldn’t even talk to Tancredo and banned him from the White House. With friends like them who needs liberal enemies?

Until we find a politician or more than one who will stand up for us, this is just pissing in the wind. NOBODY will defend our borders! I don’t get it! Do these idiots think illegals will carry the day for them? What will politicians do when the tax base dries up and most major American cities will be broke? This is already happening. If these rat bastards think raising taxes is the answer, Who’s going to be left to pay them?....
Of course the simple answers are fiscal responsibilty and spending within your means but try and tell that to these asshat politicians! Exactly right. And one of our BASICS is our U.S. Constitution. Article.IV., Section.4., says: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.” Even the open-borders crowd can’t deny it’s a foreign illegal invasion. But the special interest and pressure groups, along with a liberal activist judiciary, choose to ignore or reinterpret the plain English meaning and original intent of these words to advance their own personal agendas.
I think that’s a good observation. Even at the height of the Cold War the Soviet Union never wanted to subdue us with a war of MAD. They preferred to do it by internal subversion.

I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.
Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.
Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article. Also this article from the LA Times. And here. This makes intuitive sense. We see stories regularly of drug gang killings in Mexico but we don't see those same stories in the USA. The reason we don't see those stories is not because its not happening. Rather we don't see the stories about illegals killing blacks because that kind of story is terribly politically incorrect. The populations being displaced in downtown sanctuary cities especially are American blacks. That means that their criminal elements would be pushed aside by Mexican gangs as well. That's also the story that the wanted for murder posters in all the major cities seems to suggest.
Nevertheless, the pattern of non reporting is starting to break. Discovery Channel has a series called Gangland that mentions ethnic cleasing of blacks by Mexican gangs

All that said the true number of criminal aliens is far higher than is revealed by criminal aliens in prisons.
