Bingo.
I still remember those “insiders” claiming The Sink Emperor “turned red, lost his temper and stormed out of the room” during his deposition.
McCain is doing exactly what he should be doing right now.
When your enemies are destroying their selves; stay out of the way.
Why should he jump into to the mud slinging between the two DimRat clowns - which would only give them and the media and erxcduse to turn their guns away from them onto McCain.
McCain has said all along that he will not engage until one of them is the declared nominee and then he will.
With the two clowns and the party all in such disarray in their dog and pony show, the American people are taking a real good look and many are thinking: "How could either one of these people and/or the DemRat party be trusted to run the country!"
Hitlery and Obamama are throwing the dirt at each other - fantastic. Others on our side can bring out some salient points too. But the best strategy at this time is just what McCain is doing...Although he did come out strongly against obamama's relationship with Ayers.
In the meantime, he's above that circus - and doing things that are more what we want a CIC to be doing, like his telling the Islamofacists this week, who demanded he stop referring to the terrorist as "Islamic Terrorists", that he will continue to so call them, as that's what they are.
The leaders of other countries have buckled under on the issue - McCain says take a hike.
I disagree that the black vote stays home if Clinton get the nomination. Jackson, et al, and the black preachers will be promised billions of dollars of community development money and the black vote will go 90% to Clinton-a small reduction in turnout but no massive defections to McCain. The black churchs will have preachers speaking for Clinton the Sunday before the election.
Boy, the entertainment value of this campaign is the best since Reagan. Watching the pretensions of the compassion crowd melt before our eyes is kabuki theater at its finest. It’s a shame it has to end sometime.
“... but the weaselly John McCain won’t use it.”
Has it ever occurred to you that McCain may not be a Republican at all and that the Democrats know that they have already won the 2008 election? McCain’s history as a politician doesn’t show him to be a Republican.
