The truth Obama doesn't want you to know

Ever since the hateful, anti-American tirades of Rev. Jeremiah Wright were first reported on the news, media analysts and political pundits have been waiting for the moment when some political group would use them in a TV ad.

Now that moment has arrived, with the unveiling of this television ad by the North Carolina Republican Party.

Many on the political left (especially the media) are pronouncing and denouncing the ad. Even Senator John McCain is splashing around this quote:

We asked them not to run it. … I don't know why they do it. Obviously, I don't control them, but I'm making it very clear, as I have a couple of times in the past, that there's no place for that kind of campaigning, and the American people don't want it.

Sen. McCain is making a mistake. He is asking the American people to ignore the true spoken words of Dr. Jeremiah Wright and his close friendship with a presidential candidate, and acquiescing to those who would edit Barack Obama's past for the American people.

*snip*

William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn: These prominent members of the violent leftist organization known as the Weather Underground have taken responsibility for at least 12 bombings, including the New York City police headquarters in 1970, the U.S. Capitol building in 1971 and the Pentagon in 1972. As Ayers told the New York Times recently, "I don't regret setting bombs. ... I feel we didn't do enough."

What was that quote of Obama's about his Pastor Jeramiah Wright and the African-American community?

Obama apparantly would not reject terrorist Ayers any more than he would reject the whole terrorist community

Obama has no problem being friends with this anti-American unrepentant terrorist.

All true. The North Carolina Republican Party is not making aspersions or defaming Obama. Its bringing up factual information about the company he keeps Americans deserve to know. The question is why the McCain campaign wants to keep that hidden from the American people. If McCain thinks its not worthy for the public to know, he doesn't deserve to be President.

What the hell is up with McCaniac coming down hard on the North Carolina Republican Party and the add is about the governors election and not president?

Senor McCaniac is completely out of line in his endeavor to kiss every radical left wing liberal reporters ass.

McCain’s behavior has become so bizarre recently that I’m beginning to wonder if something medically is going on. How else do you explain his recent attacks on Bush and the N.C. Republican Party? He’s beginning act in a self-destructive manner regarding his campaign. Then again, maybe he is just a bigger a** than most of us assumed.

In 1992, as all of his past came out, I can remember thinking: there is no way this guy (Clinton) can become president. Then daddy Bush checked his watch, and was slaughtered by the MSM.

Now we have a candidate with ever more transparent ties to radical Marxists and terrorists. And the MSM is gearing up to sweep it all under the rug.

As for me, I am going to send some money to North Carolina, nothing to McLame, and will cross my fingers and pray for America's safety in 2009 and beyond.

It’s pretty clear that McCain intends to run against the conservatives in an attempt to gain as many moderate and alienated democrat voter as possible. He doesn’t want to owe conservatives anything, the better to knife them in the back when he’s president. Unless he is able to convince me otherwise I don’t see voting for McCain. Our conservative representatives and senators will be better off anyway, being able to organize opposition to President Clinton or Obama rather than having to march in lockstep with this RINO.

it is starting to become believable that the real Manchurian Candidate is McCain...this election is screwed!

Rush implied on his program this morning that McCain is still working out a vendetta against the Republican party arising from his 2000 loss to Bush in the primaries.

He said McCain-Feingold was designed to punish the party. He himself is having to work around its strictures in order to raise money.

"With each new utterance on the topic of Reverend Wright, Barack Obama seems to confirm his own moral obliviousness. Worse yet, he seems to have disdain for those who are troubled by his own unwillingness, even now, to break with Wright."

On his new campaign plane, Obama said he has spoken with Wright in recent days and disputed any suggestion that he or his campaign have asked him to stay out of the limelight.

"I have talked to him," he said. "I haven't asked him to do anything."

Walter Williams: "For the nation and for black people, the first black president should be the caliber of a Jackie Robinson and Barack Obama is not. Barack Obama has charisma and charm but in terms of character, values and understanding, he is no Jackie Robinson. By now, many Americans have heard the racist and anti-American tirades of Obama's minister and spiritual counselor. There's no way that Obama could have been a 20-year member of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's church and not been aware of his statements."

Thomas Sowell: "It is painful to watch defenders of Barack Obama tying themselves into knots trying to evade the obvious. Some are saying that Senator Obama cannot be held responsible for what his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, said. In their version of events, Barack Obama just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time—and a bunch of mean-spirited people are trying to make something out of it."

Hussein Obama’s racist pseudo minister has turned the Dems' run for President into party's train wreck!

Devastatingly, Shelby Steele writes: “Obama has fellow-traveled with a hate-filled, anti-American black nationalism all his adult life, failing to stand and challenge an ideology that would have no place for his own (white) mother."

Just What Did Obama Know About Wright's Past Sermons? (Plenty)

“Barack Obama either agreed with what was preached from the Trinity pulpit, or he tuned it out and stayed around pretending to for political reasons. To say he stayed for 20 years but doesn't agree with Wright's preaching is incredible denial. It'd be like a man buying White Sox season tickets for 20 years, attending the games, and saying he's not a fan.”

Obama’s supporters want us to ignore this story… just push it under the rug. While they’ll align Republicans with any obscure pastor who does or says something controversial, they’re trying to convince us that Obama’s 20-year long close relationship with Wright, including his effective endorsement of him, his church and rhetoric with a $22,500 donation in 2006 is irrelevant.

“When Obama decided against wearing an American flag pin, we may all have been a bit too quick to accept his rationale, too quick to find that issue unimportant. Now, that American flag pin has gotten a lot bigger for a lot of us, especially in light of what may have been and may still be Obama’s deeper, and, perhaps, secret, less than patriotic beliefs about America.”

“Wright says that blacks can’t be expected to sing God Bless America because of racism. Obama doesn’t salute the flag during the National Anthem. That sure strikes me as an amazing coincidence since Obama swears he never heard Wright say anything against America.”

Here is the link to the Star Spangled Banner video with obama standing there without his hand over his heart...

Notice her ear ring!

The picture, which appeared on a U.S. Web site, showed the Illinois senator donning a Muslim elder's headdress and robes during a 2006 trip to Wajir in northeastern Kenya. Ahmed Sheikh Bahalow, a retired teacher and elder from ethnically (read Muslim) Somali Wajir, said his community was offended by the insinuation Obama had done anything wrong on his visit. "The Somali community and in particular those living in Kenya have never been that interested in America politics," Bahalow told Reuters in the central town of Isiolo. "But we are following it keenly now because we have been provoked." Wajir residents planned to demonstrate in the town after Friday prayers to show their support for Obama, he said. Those aren't Episcopalians praying on Friday.

"Hussein Obama’s big mouth, small brain, condescending, America-hating, grandkid-baby-terminating, born-alive-infant-abandoning, America-hating-wife, kooky-moonbat-America-hating-pastor, racially-divisive, race-baiting, crotch-saluting, America-flag-disrespecting ... chickens ... coming home to roost ...!"

Anything that does not assist Obama to power is rascist.

Just breathing, or fomerly breathing, if you are (or were) white or asian is also racist.

Hispanics, blacks, and Native Americans are also rascist if they are married, speak English, have a job and/or are not completely subservient to the MSM-approved black establisment.

Obama’s pastor is so vile and shameful that some want to hide his words. I agree that is words are not fit for the press, but the whole world needs to see Jeremiah Wright for just what he is. He is a profane racist, who has been mentoring Obama. This whole world needs to see what we are rounding up for presidential candidates, and it is shameful.

I have not wondered about McCaniac for at least several years.

I watched the shamnesty debates from start to finish and McCaniac was so in bed with Murdering Teddy Boy Kennedy all the way on Amnesty for law breaking illegals.

I listened to Fred Thompson last night and it made me sick that he wimped out on running a campaign to win.

I wonder whether or not Fred only ran for president to pull votes away from the other candidates.

The MSM keeps saying that Fred pulled votes from John McCanic but in actuality it was the other way around, Fred pulled votes from the only other strong and best candidate Mitt Romney.

Yes were screwed, blewed and tattooed.

One should not judge a man by his friends. Just because they are friends, does not mean one endorses all of their view points.

Just because their income is tainted, doesn't mean their donations to me are.

One must take them (and the money) as they are, warts and all, and hope one can influence them to change.

Besides, it cuts both ways: my typical white racist grandmother cringed when a black man harassed her, but I still use her shamelessly (mainly by tossing her under the buss as a crowd pleaser) and associate with her at a distance...a long distance...on Mother's Day!

Strange, though; when I stand to sing it, MY hand is still over MY heart...just as I was taught. Except when in uniform; then silent, at attention, and saluting.

Don't know for sure, but in politics this is called a deniability factor. The candidate can have surrogates say these things, then deny he agrees or had anything to do with it. McCain might not really disagree with this ad.

Yeah. Just like the opposition to Reid declaring the war lost overwhelmed the D party, Pelousi's duplicitous attempts at initiating her very own State department to nuzzle up (down?) to the stature challenged team of asshat 'n asininajibeass made her take pause.

Nothing, but nothing says "listen to me" more than a "You're an idiot and I hate you" to preface it.

Yep, that'll get 'er done all right.

And here I thought we were screwed.
