Venezuelas Chavez plans to bury old empire of USA Front page / World / Americas 25.04.2008 Source: Pravda.Ru
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez harshly criticized the US administration again after the unauthorized passing of the USS George Washington along the coast of the Latin American country. Chavez promised to bury the USA in the 21st century.
When Americans appear near our shores with their navy, the George Washington aircraft carrier, one should not forget that it happens at the time when we together with Brazil are creating the Defense Council of South America, Chavez said in a speech that was broadcast by all TV and radio channels of Venezuela.
In this century we will bury the old empire of the USA and will live with the American nation like with a brotherly nation, because over 40 million of its citizens live below the poverty line, the Venezuelan leader said.
Chavez also said that Latin America entered the new era that was marked with the creation of a bloc of leftist forces Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Chile and Brazil.

How about we bury you?
Hey it’s PRAVDA time! I feel like 1980’s all over again!
“In this century we will bury the old empire of the USA and will live with the American nation like with a brotherly nation, because over 40 million of its citizens live below the poverty line, the Venezuelan leader said.”
Which is about 13% of our population. Compare that to 38% of Venezuelans classified as below the poverty line.

Keep barking, Hugo.
Pelosi’s buddy...”
Between the 2 of them, the BS they produce could run a hundred power plants....

WE WILL BURY YOU!........Go ahead Chavez, it didn't work for this guy either........
Didn’t Nikita what’s-his-name promise this too?
And the Venezuelan poverty line is probably a lot lower than the US poverty line. I doubt that the poor Venezuelans' biggest health problem is obesity and its effects.
Poverty in the US is not comparable to poverty in Vz.
Once Chavez solves those few, pesky problems of feeding his people, rampant inflation, corruption, increasing violence in major Venezuelan cities, and the fleeing middle class - he will be ready to take on the USA. No problem!
now THAT is a good picture.
“”Which is about 13% of our population. Compare that to 38% of Venezuelans classified as below the poverty line.”
Poverty in the US is not comparable to poverty in Vz.”
Yes, that too. Apples and oranges.
ever wonder why we keep filling the strattegic reserve at these rediculous prices? Because a new cold war is on the way with Iran/Russia/and Hugo’s block on one side and us on the other. the navy announced the reformation of the 4th fleet today. this is the Gulf of Mexico/Carribean fleet that had been mothballed. The first shot fired will be an oil embargo. Hence the purchasing of foreign oil @ $117/Bbl
....to Chavez's peril....for when the lights go out in America, the lights go out everywhere in the world.
Chavez would be vastly better off if he adopted B-16's attitude of God Bless America.
And consider what is considered poor here and in Venezuela. Would one prefer to be poor in Venezuela or America?
Forty-six percent of all poor households actually own their own homes. The average home owned by persons classified as poor by the Census Bureau is a three-bedroom house with one-and-a-half baths, a garage, and a porch or patio.
Seventy-six percent of poor households have air conditioning. By contrast, 30 years ago, only 36 percent of the entire U.S. population enjoyed air conditioning.
Only 6 percent of poor households are overcrowded. More than two-thirds have more than two rooms per person.
The average poor American has more living space than the average individual living in Paris, London, Vienna, Athens, and other cities throughout Europe. (These comparisons are to the average citizens in foreign countries, not to those classified as poor.)
Nearly three-quarters of poor households own a car; 30 percent own two or more cars.
Ninety-seven percent of poor households have a color television; over half own two or more color televisions.
Seventy-eight percent have a VCR or DVD player; 62 percent have cable or satellite TV reception.
Seventy-three percent own microwave ovens, more than half have a stereo, and a third have an automatic dishwasher.
Let's ask the panel about burying the US empire and their undisciplined, weak, soft, capitalistic, uneducated forces....
survey says, "Go for it you stupid, b#tch." Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.
I'd love to be 30 years younger just to go back into Central and South America and put a spanking on these punks...... again. bwahahahahaha....
I love the jungle....hate the cold, but loved the jungle....must be genetic....hahahahahaa..I'm just hoping that some of the freedom fighter wannabees like Sean Penn or Danny Glover get in the mix when the counter insurgency and civil war starts....again.
Penn was wearing body armor in New Orleans. I just can't wait to see him in the bush or city street when a real fight breaks out and not just a bunch of looters.
It seems that Congressman Chavez (D) is upset again.
Notice how closely he wants to climb up behind Brazil, with their new found oil fields.
And the 'poverty line' in the US would be solid middle class in Venezuela.
Sounds like a page out of old Nikki’s playbook (Nikita Khrushchev for those too young to know who I am referring too).
¿Por qué no te callas? works for both.
US response to Hugo: Re-establish the 4th Fleet with specific mission in Caribbean/South American waters.
Also, poverty is considered on a country-by-country basis. Poor in the USA can include owning a TV and a car, having hot and cold running water in your house with proper sanitation, free school with meals for your kids. Poor in the USA equals doing pretty damn well in Venezuela.

United States Poor:
Venezuela has a middle class?
One thing I love about photos like that is also knowing there are likely a bunch of attacks subs prowling around that you’ll never even know about until a Tomahawk breaks the surface or a torpedo holes your ship.
Just a couple of AC-130’s circling the Citgo refineries and the pipe line feeding the country’s only serious infrastructure and there you have it. He’ll be begging us for aid again.
Yes, they do... for the time being. Many are trying to figure out how to get the hell out before Hugo sends them to the reeducation camps.
Hugo... eating too much of that coccoa leaf? Maybe not enough? Then you better call your boy in Boliva to send you over a bag of stash.
Used to..and it was growing and movin on up...Now...Lots of them, are fleeing the ghetto Chavez is turning *all* of his country into.
