I think your combined household income must be less than $100K to receive the ummm...”stimulus refund”.
I researched the Crist/Martinez/McCain fiasco pretty good and all I could come up with was intense greed and lust on Crist's part to be potus.
That does not mean however there was a lot more at play. It's just hard to document. A major league fix will become more apparent if Crist does become the VP.
I think that this presidential election will see one of the lowest, if not THE lowest, voter turnouts on boths sides of the aisle, in history.
I also think that if Obama gets the nomination, he'll alienate a lot of the Democrats who do come out and vote, into pulling the lever for McCain. Ditto for Hillary: if she gets the nomination, she'll alienate tons of Democrats, and again, the ones who do come out to vote in this election, will pull the lever for McCain.
IF McCain wins, it won't be because the few Republicans who come out to vote were enough in number to put him over the top. It will be because Democrats tipped the balance.
Your reasons are your opinions and are based on nothing but your beliefs.
I don't care what the polling says about how many will vote for Hussein in the general election. There seems to be a consensus that he “over polls” due to people not wanting to appear racist by saying they won't vote for him. This was evident in PA as well s TX and a couple of other States where his vote totals did not come within 5-7 points of the polling numbers.
I have spoken to a ton of Democrats I know who live in MA (lived there 12 years) and NJ (where I live now)and not a one of them has an ounce of enthusiasm for Hussein NOR do they think he has a chance in a general election. His numbers bear this out as he does extremely poorly among whites and his real strength is with blacks and young kids. The blacks will bolt if the nomination is grabbed from him and the chances are better then even the kids wouldn't bother to show up even if he did win the nomination because they never have before. He cannot win without all three. She won't get the black vote in sufficient numbers if she manages to “steal” the nomination and she never had the kids to begin with.
Just my opinion.
WE all have seen the polls claiming 20% of Hillary voters will vote for McCain if Hussein wins nomination and a lesser number of Hussein voters will vote for McCain if Hillary wins. Will they? Who knows but there are no indications McCain conservative voters are running away from him, rather the news is they are coming home. One example is Rick Santorum (R-PA)who initially was against McCain and now publicly supports him.
It's very early yet but the slam dunk of the libs grabbing the WH is anything but at this time and there is so much to use against the libs in the general election, most of it words coming from themselves or their supporters that they will not have an easy time of it. On the other hand the attacks on McCain seem to be relegated to ancient history or else really weak and flimsy stories such as the NYSlimes ran about his using his wife's corporate jet in the campaign (not illegal) or the alleged affair he was having with a lobbyist which the Slimes tried to smear him with.
Bottom line is in a sh*t slinging contest McCain has almost all the ammunition and we all know that in the end negative campaigning pays off.
And facts.
