The,gays, blacks, hispanics, enviros, etc.all the other groups that compose the rat party have never ever been anything but voter blocks and funding targets for the rats.
The rats don't actually believe in anything but socialism/communism. ,p> These people,the splinter groups that create the dem/rat party, really don't exist except for specific purposes.(its kind of like we,as conservatives, are to the pubbie party) And when they get out of line once their immediate expedience value has been used up, they are routinely thrown under the bus.As are we.

Wallace is letting Obama get his talking points in without interruption.
Obama is trying to ‘correct’ previous verbal mistakes by making damage-control remarks. He says he has worn flag pins and will do so again, yada yada yada.
Way back when Dick Gephardt was still around I remember commenting that they were killing their magic words by using them inappropriately and then running them into the ground from overuse. (And I was far from alone in such comments.)
Remember sosh security and how the evil Republicans were going to put Granny out in the street to starve after tipping her out of her wheelchair...
And their top all time best seller racist used to be devastating. There were lots more, but racist was the one they used to finish off any argument they couldn't win rationally.
If you look in those following comments, you'll see that racist isn't working so well anymore and neither are the newer words or phrases like "can't question his patriotism" or "he was a Marine" or "war hero", etc.
People were fearless at shooting down the magic words and phrases that used to work as a shield. Better than that, they hammered the factual "nails" in even deeper after blowing up the attempted shields.
I visited my buddy yesterday and he has a 200 page scrapbook of 300 swordfish he has caught during the day over the past five years, truly impressive.

With Obama now getting 92% of the black vote(actually a disaster for him if you think it through) the Rev. "Wrong", and almost every black person on the face of the planet(including terrorists) endorsing him, inadvertently Obama has turned the election into a black/white contest.
He just lowered his odds.
