BINGO! Obama was Chairman of this project, for which Ayers was one of the 3 originators and a central participant. It is IMPOSSIBLE that Obama did not know that Ayers is a Prof. of EDUCATION, not "English" and therefore Obama lied in the debate to try to misdirect attention. More importantly, Obama clearly worked with Ayers for YEARS on educational "reform" and has LIED in pretending to barely know Ayers.

It is also remarkable that Obama has not made his supposed leadership and expertise in educational "reform" one of the central planks of his qualifications for higher office...... after all, this is just about the only significant thing he has done in public life!!!! (if they actually accomplished anything?) The fact that Obama did not see fit to emphasize his 8 years of "experience" leading the way for educational "reform" strongly suggests that he knew he had to keep public and media attention away from his ties with people like Ayers, and maybe all the Annenberg money was squandered anyway if these bozos did not do much more than hold meetings and generate reports. Did they actually accomplish anything in all these years of "reform"??

btw, I only glanced through the .pdf but I noticed that they refer to some governing body as the "collective" -- a term only used in far-left political organizing..... it would be most interesting to find out the extent to which they (mis)used the Annenberg funds simply to support an Ayers-fantasy radical collective experiment..... and Obambi was the Chairman of the whole project.

oh, boy, I wish he were already the nominee because this sort of stuff should be lethal to his campaign and by coming out now the 'Rats may still have a last-ditch chance to switch over to Shrillary.

Pursuant to the discussion on a previous thread, here's a chronology:

1. Michelle Robinson went to work for Sidley & Austin in 1988. Bernadine Dohrn was working for Sidley & Austin in 1988.

2. Michelle Robinson met Barack Obama in 1989, when he interned at Sidley & Austin. She was assigned to supervise him.

3. Michelle Robinson became Michelle Obama in 1992. After that, his political career got underway. He was appointed to the chairmanship of the Annenberg Challenge (likely by William Ayers) in 1995, then was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1997 (having launched his campaign under Ayers' auspices).

The Dohrn-Michelle connection may be the critical one.
