"“I’ve never heard of anyone taking their campaign money and putting it into a for-profit corporation,” campaign finance-reform advocate Fred Wertheimer told the Houston Chronicle."

I read that Ron Paul is right on everything except the war so I guess it’s ok.

Why not put it towards a 527 to help defeat the UnAmerican Democrat Party? Or give it to a Conservative Republican running? A libertarian running?

Na, he wouldn't want to actually produce a result or accomplish a goal or anything.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I’d love to see him put at lesat some of it toward getting ALL his PO’ed (I mean crestfallen) supporters to venture back outside to the polls and vote for the Republican nominee.

You know, actually RP WAS right on pretty much everything (spending/the economy, our sovreignty, currency devaluation) and more...except he was way off-base, dead wrong, on foreign policy and THAT’S a deal-breaker.

Very true, always is but especially now with Muslims trying to take over the world.

That’s exactly WHY it’s a deal-breaker (at least for me)!

Perhaps he could buy a lot more bedsheets to hang from overpasses.

Most of them are likely Obama supporters now.

It's curious that a lot of Paulistas, and Libertarians in general, regularly rail against “corporations” - even though the millions of “corporations” go down even to mom-and-pop corporations such as a little stores.

So the forming of a for-profit private corporation by Dr. Paul seems a contradiction, indeed.

Has he ever thought of refunding the donations to their original source-persons? This would seem to conform to Paul and Libertarian orthodoxy.

Or perhaps use it to organize the LP or another viable party to compete in 2012. I suspect there will be a void to fill after this (2008) election.

LOL ... Who really believes anything that faux news has to report? Seriously??? Ron Paul, in his decades on service as an elected congressman, has always voted against any pork n barrel spending. In fact, he even voted against awarding a gold medal to Rosa Parks. Not because she didn’t deserve it, but he didn’t believe the taxpayers should have to foot the bill. Instead he offered a $100.00 of his own money and asked other congressmen to do the same towards the cost of the medal. Get a clue people! Try researching the voting records of all the candidates...You will see that RP is the ONLY one who voted against the war, against NAFTA, etc.
