When did he become the spokesperson for all black churches?
A critism over his numerous rants isn't an attack on black churches any more than a criticism of a white preachers rants could be an attack on all white churches.
Wright in the past said that the US government created the AIDS virus to kill black people. Now, he says "I believe our government is capable of doing anything."
Nice spin.
Concerning Farrakhan, he left out the part today about Farrakhan being given a lifetime achievenment award at Wright's church - with Wright in attendance. He also left out the part where Farrakhan in the past called white people the skunk of the planet.
Wright today: "We have never apologized for slavery." "We have never apologized for Japan."
If Wright knew his Bible, he would know that in Ezekiel it says "The son is not responsible for the sins of the father."
Concerning Japan, who attacked whom?
Did Japan attack the United States at Pearl harbor, or did we attack ourselves?
If we had invaded mainland Japan, miltary operations analysts then (and military historians now) said/say that 300,000+ US soldiers would have been killed. Atom bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to spare the lives of US military personnel. How he could even infer that this was an act of terrorism is beyond me.
I guess it is more blame America first stuff...

Wright is a radical, anti-American, racist pig, rivaling Jesse and Al. So typical of the left in America. This is their agenda -— radicalism, racism, Marxism, anti-Americanism.
Yes, you stupid Dims, wake up — if you can.

I noticed in his speech this morning, he used the term ‘uncle tom’ quite often with a sneer. Sounds like he is building up to attack African Americans who don't agree with his attempt to build up racist attitudes.
Juan Williams this morning said he doesn't think Wright wants Obama to win, on the contrary, he wants Obama to lose so he'll have a platform to bash the country on for not electing a African American president.

The criticism is of your racist words, and your words alone."

Do all black churches preach this message of hate?
And why did Wright need 3 weeks of coaching to get out in public and answer his critics?
He ain’ta bein’ honest with AmeriKKKa.

Uncle Tom is a racist term and only bigots would use it.
Someone who holds you down and denigrates your success is NOT your friend or your “brother”. He is your enemy and is selling you out for his own political/social advantage.

Let's hope that a black racist who spews hateful, venomous, garbage in a 'so-called' church takes ALL THE TIME HE NEEDS to enlighten America about why black churches need to spread hate by poisoning the minds of their congregations and black youth.
Take your time, Reverend.

I agree, that term is thrown to anyone who doesn't follow the line they prescribe and.. gosh..thinks for themselves.. it is the ultimate in racism. It is telling someone that because the color of their skin, they must think and believe X. It is completely throwing out the individual for the sake of the ‘box’ they put them in.

When Obama loses, expect a storm of pro-black racism.

Standard leftist tactic to silence any criticism of leftist viewpoints.
This is even “more standard” :=),
paint your critics as “racist” in order to use a verbal rifle butt to the head to silence them.

Maybe some of the bigger churches that make the news. I know a lot of African Americans in the area who are sick of the kind of divisiveness he spews. Unfortunately, they are your average working folk who have no time to run around and get in front to cameras to set the record straight.

With any luck, Rev. Wright will speak at the Democratic Convention (or, perhaps, be hired by one of the major networks) to remind us that America is a damned country and Obama is the Savior.

Ah, yes: Church of the Creator. And everyone disapproves of them. R-Dan Lungren running for governor against D-Gray Davis in California, years back. CA NAACP went digging into funds and determined that members of "white" churches had donated to Lungren's campaign. They threatened to break this to the media if Dan didn't find a way to lose "gracefully".
Fast Forward, I wanna see names of members of Wright's church who have donated to Obama's campaign.
Besides, Obama, you were only riding front to Hillary and her husband, the First Black American President. Howie wants you to bow out, with obviously full concurment from your past mentor, Jeremiah Wright.

Now we have all out Democratic civil war, divided on the race-gender-identity politics that we all know they created, while calling us names of course.
Wright is an egomaniac who will not be silenced. He can be easily baited. He is listening to Rush and Hannity and Bill O,he will respond, again and again.
Ha.
This is too much fun.

i listened "with interest to" the reverend wright's address to the NPC.
frankly, i HOPE that he CONTINUES "speechifying", as he will singlehandedly SINK obama's campaign!!!
btw, the very PRESENCE of the Fruit of Islam THUGS (that is the "security force" of Louis Farrakhan's NOI. at least TWO of the FOI were standing behind him at the NPC.) will turn MANY Americans against obama/wright/DIMocRATS!!!

Actually, I think he reflects the opinion of a lot of the churches that call themselves "black churches." There are other Evangelical churches that are genuine multi-racial Christian churches, and most Catholic churches (with the exception of a couple run by lefty white pastors trying to glom onto what they perceive as blackness) are multi-ethnic.
In New York, "black churches" were nothing but left wing power blocs that called themselves churches so they could be funded by the pennies of sweet dumb grannies. But don't underestimate the power of dumbness. When the government tried Al Sharpton for tax evasion because he had used church funds to buy himself goodies, including a Cadillac, the grannies all came forward to say that they knew that "the Reverend" was going to use the money to buy a Cadillac (their ultimate status symbol) but he deserved it because he was their minister.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
First Obama and now Rev. Wright are trying to start a race war.
Then they’ll be “vindicated” - of course not but they’re trying to cover their tracks.
They have no shame and if anything were to happen because of it, it is on their heads alone for initiating it.
I sure hope nothing happens but they keep trying to dump gasoline and strike a match.
Shame, shame, shame on them.
