Wright launches into a review of black liberation theology. "I do not in any way disagree with James Cone. Jim is a personal friend of mine."

I believe in free speech and so wright has the right to say anything he wants to. On the other hand we have the right to critique whatever he says and bring it to the attention of all the people.

Yes, Wright can say what he wants — and he can also identify and label himself as to what and who he is, in the process of exercising his right of free speech.

And we know EXACTLY WHAT AND WHO HE IS....without any doubt.

Jeremiah Wright “sound bites” the scripture in John 10:16 stating when asked if muslims will be saved, saying Jesus said I have sheep not of this fold”...well the rest of that scripture says he will have ONE SHEPHERD AND ONE FOLD...and he was speaking of the gentiles being grafted into God’s chosen people as one. The man is an idiot, and he had NATION OF ISLAM AS HIS BODY GUARDS at Press conference because he had been threatened..so he says. False Prophet who doesn’t care about anything but his 15 min. of fame.

A year from now, Obama and his coterie of clowns and misfits will be just a bump on the butt of history.

Wright is going to continue to intentionally damage Obama and advance his own cause. For guys like Wright, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the like Barak Obama is bad for business. Once America demonstrates that racism is a thing of the past these guys are unemployed.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Wright use his growing national forum to start preaching for a racial apocalypse - musch to the cheers of his Marxist and black separatist handlers.

Wright is doing a tremendous disservice to any blacks who would run for high office. From now on, the religious associations of any black will be dissected and probably another radical like Wright will be exposed.

So, Rev. Wright is Obama-Maud'Dibs Bene Gesserit teacher. Except he's a dude, not a chick. Oh well, maybe the Bene Gesserits decided to change its all female only policy. :-)

You know, if I was motivated, I could re-write the entire Dune novel using this election. It almost writes itself. Sadly, I'm to damn lazy. Tired to, I work midshift, I should be in bed. G'night Freepers!! :-)

Wright is the next Louis Farrakhan. Louis is sick, supposedly, and they will need a replacement. Wright is a communist that places himself at the head of his people.........whether they like it or not. We allow Obama to become President and “HIS” people will be at his side......preacher, body guards and all.

I believe in free speech and so wright has the right to say anything he wants to.

And sure enough he does. Even though it is uniformly non-sensical. He said what he said and no amount of whitewash (blackwash?) can change that.

The most glaring nonsense is his technique of changing the subject, from blatantly racist and seditious language to claiming to be stating "facts". No rational person in a rational society can stop laughing at the attempt.

Might as well claim that Professor Corey spouted facts for decades...

The fact that Clinton 1 and Clinton 2 apparently get away with empty phrases and nonsensical statements for many years now is not of much help. The fact that they have been joined now by Buraq Hussein Obama has defused the absurd charge of racism, and Obama is now politically DOA.
Should, by some cosmic joke, Buraq prevail, the certain result is that the next thing that would be DOA shortly thereafter is the US of A, its noble experiment and our role in the world.

There's not a whole lot more that can be said.

Amen, Wright had the Nation of Islam as his bodyguards at the National Press Conference. WRight is “sound biting” the gospel to include muslims, and preparing us for his VP choice if Obama gets nomination...America needs to get out and hit the streets in protest if that’s what happens, or the terrorists will be in our streets forcing us to accept Mohammed.

Jeremiah Wright is bigoted and bitter. Man, he's the gift that keeps on giving. I hope he keeps it up!

Re: Wright launches into a review of black liberation theology. "I do not in any way disagree with James Cone. Jim is a personal friend of mine."

From: Black liberation theology Wikipedia article

James Cone defines the theology as thus:
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." * A Black Theology of Liberation By James H. Cone 1990 ISBN-10: 0883446855 Page 27

The mirror image of white supremacist preaching about the mud races and how the earth was made for the white man. No body accepts that kind of hate today. Why should we accept it from James Cone's acolyte?

Hmmm.. I wonder if Wright is aware of “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except by me.”

The company You Keep-

Remember back when you parents would say to you “You don’t have to tell me who you have been with,” they would say. “I can tell.”

“All right we’d say, who?”

They would proceed to name every one of them. And they were always right. We would ask in amazement, “how did you know?”

They would say, “We become like those we hang out with.”

That’s been proven to be true for Wright, Cone, and Obama. The more we know of the company they are keeping the more we know of who they are hanging out with.

I would love to ask jesse Jackson if he got where he is due to hard work or due to affirmative action? if he answered “hard work”, I’d ask him if he thinks he is “better” than other blacks?
If he answers no to that, I’d ask why then, is affirmative action needed?? If he could achieve, why couldn’t any other black????

That was quoted in regards to Jesus, and he said “Jesus also said “I have sheep that are not of this fold” which is John 10:16, BUT he left the second half of that scripture out. The muslims and dems applauded, so is he a REV who promotes christianity..NO, NO, NO.

As of today, Wright is done. Obama has to cut him COMPLETELY loose. Wright comes in with the Nation of Islam as his body guards. So, is Wright Muslim? Is Obama?

He’s also proven that he’s mentally competant. He’s looney tunes in his political and religious philosophy, but Obama can’t resurrect the ‘crazy uncle’ defense.

Then he attacked Obama. May have been a calculation that allows Obama to cut Wright loose, but he’s going to have to do more than that if Obama is to win another primary.

Hillary only needs to say, “Look, you heard the man. Sound like a uniter to you?”

Boy, you have to feel sorry for Obama. His “bitter” comments make clear what he thinks of religious sentiment generally and religiously-inspired public policy in particular. Now he’s been pilloried for “believing” sermons he only ever sat through in hopes of winning some South Side votes.

I wonder what other of Obama’s supposed passions and beliefs will turn out to have been equally cynical.

Here’s one: his promise to raise capital gains taxes, while at the same time he’s being backed to the hilt by the hedge fund and private equity community which depends upon the capital gains differential for a huge chunk of its after-tax income. At the end of the day I suspect he’ll take all the pain out on the hides of the upper middle class — a nice 50% increase in marginal rates on upper (earned) income workers (from 35% to 52%) when he lets the Bush marginal rate reform expire and uncaps OASDI taxes, while the capital gains differential is left alone entirely.

The Chickens Come Home to Roost!

Rev. John W. Adams

“There is an old saying with a mountain of truth in it: “The chickens come home to roost.” In my early years, my folks had a chicken ranch on the southern Oregon coast, with thousands of chickens. We sold lots of eggs.

Many years later, my own family had several banty chickens that ran around on our three acres near Bremerton, Washington. They, too, always returned to the barn and their roosting place before dark.

When we apply this truth to life, we can put it like this: “What we sow, we reap.” Or, what we give out, we get back.” There is still another way of stating it, “What goes around, comes around.”

In other words, to make sure that the “chickens” that come home are the ones you really want, care must be taken to send out their like-kind.

In my favorite movie, “The Sound of Music,” Maria sang that she must have had a wonderful childhood in which she had done something good to be reaping all the good that was coming to her at that time.

Sometimes, our past catches up with us, usually when least expected, and the discomfort it causes is usually not welcome. In childhood, we may do or say things that catch up with later on. However, if we have been wise enough to keep our thoughts and actions right, we happily welcome the rewards that come to us.”

I just didn’t know Obama and Wright had soooo many! Chickens coming home to roost that is.

Jeremiah Wright is bigoted and bitter.

And he clings to his warped version of religion as tightly as any gun toting, religious rural Pennsylvanian! Who knew Obama was talking about his own pastor!
