Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- In a Sunday interview, pro-abortion presidential candidate Barack Obama defended his opposition to a ban on partial-birth abortions. Though he wasn't in Congress at the time it voted on the ban, he said he would have supported it had it contained a health exception.
However, doctors and medical groups readily acknowledge that the three-day-long abortion procedure -- involving the killing of an unborn baby halfway through the birthing process - never helps women medically.
Obama also claimed pro-life advocates only brought the partial-birth abortion ban forward only to "polarize" the abortion debate.

Shouldn’t the headline actually say “Barack Obama Defends Partial-Birth Abortion” ? Eliminate the double negative, right? They even try to spin headlines.

I agree. When they stop using abortion as a method of birth control, at government expense, they can come back and talk to us. It’s still murder, no matter what name you give it. I find it interesting that in some places, if a person kills a pregnant woman, they can be convicted of double murder. Does that not make abortion murder?

So basically, Obamassein fully supports partial birth abortion, even though it rarely involves the health of the “mother”, because it might affect the main Democrat platform, which is ABORTION ON DEMAND, AT ALL COSTS, IN PERPETUITY.

is. If the “mother” will suffer mental health problems, ie, some stress or negative feelings, for giving birth,
this is enough of a “health exception” to perform the infanticide.

I know it should ALREADY be illegal to kill a baby, half born or not... But make them get in front of congress and the public and EXPLAIN THAT STEP~!
What POSSIBLE medical help can it be to stop half way and suck out the baby’s brain?
Have huge congresssional hearing to explain that part of the procedure.
If it is medically necessary to remove the baby then just remove it -don’t stop half way just to kill it in the process.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court has viewed abortion as a property issue. Therefore, a woman can kill her own baby, even with assistance, but anyone else is committing murder if they do so. It’s a huge double-standard, and makes no sense, because murder is murder regardless of who ‘chooses’ to do it.
SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME.....

A friend and I were talking the other day about some women who attend our parish who think the same thing about Obama. These women were so worried about soldiers at war but thought the abortion issue was secondary. Her husband reminded them that there have been 50 million deaths due to abortion and still counting. But he should have added all the women who have died because of abortion especially the 13 and 15 year olds. Too many Christians have decided abortion is no big deal anymore and don’t want to hear about it.

Actually, much more has been done, on a yearly basis for over 10 years. Yet, no one seems to be aware of this activity in the House. Wonder why that is, especially when nearly 25% of the House of Representatives are listed as co-sponsors!?

If that happened, the Preamble, 5th, and the 14th amendments would apply to protecting the lives of the unborn. An admission made by the court in their Roe v. Wade ruling when Justice Blackmun wrote; If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant’s case, of course, collapses, for the fetus’ right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment.
The United States CONgre$$ has failed miserably in their Constitutional duty by allowing SCOTUS to legislate from the bench unchecked! These obscene breeches of our Constitution must be reversed without fear of political reprecussions if our nation is to be saved.
OK, I'll try. Every Sunday and in some denominations, on Saturday, there are people that sit in pews and tithe, and say Amen after their prayers. They have never met the God they pray to. They have no idea, what He wants from them, yet they call themselves "Christian". They will be the ones that will be called "goats" at the Last Day. They will be as weeds to be cut down and thrown into the Fire. They aren't the people that most think are atheists, these profess to be Christians. The Bible talks of foolish virgins, servants who didn't "invest" what was given to them, ect. Many people think these verses are for pagan non-believers, but what they are talking about are lukewarm and basically cold Christians. Many today are called the "Taliban" of the right, or extreme fundamentalists, and that is supposed to be derogatory. Well, Jesus confronted the people that wanted to kill Him. He spoke truth even to His own death. His life of ministry was 100% faithful to His Father, never wavering. He would be thrown out of most churches today as a "kook".
The liberal wings of the Christian faith are just lost people allowed to run things. Their job is to keep as many lost as possible. They are the spawn of Satan and followers of demons. No non psychotic person could ever believe that Jesus would want a baby murdered, but they sit in pews and vote, and even pastor churches. Obama is but one. That certainly doesn't make him the only one. Obama even found Jesus wanted to support homosexual marriage in the Sermon on the Mount, and NOTHING was said about it, and the interviewer probably had never read it for themselves to call him on it.
Just remember, Judas was in the first church. I'm sure God had His own prophetical reasons for choosing Him, but the symbolism of Judas going everywhere Jesus went, and listening to every Word He said, and witnessing miracles with his own eyes, he still disagreed with Jesus to the point of betrayal. Every Sunday you most likely sit with some worse than Judas. And Rev Wright gets to run his church of biblical morons. Even if you have a Godly preacher, there will be some that are blind and deaf in the pews.
I know this has already happend, but I think my point was more emphasis should be put on asking a doctor or doctors publicly to explain why that part of the procedure is necessary and publicize it like crazy.
People I meet STILL don’t know that partial birth means sucking out the brain if a half-born child, and I cant understand how.
The first so-called ‘doctor’ who claimed to have performd this should have been arrested for murder and held up as an example to others.
It’s not that we have not already tried to do the right things, we just need to do certain parts more publicly to galvanize support against this monstrosity
