I was always impressed by the Glenn Miller Orchestra continuing to play as a V-1 was sputtering overhead. Just saw that movie again yesterday and I am always impressed with that scene and the reaction of the audience when they returned from "taking cover". What a great movie!!

Note Hillary.... that's what coming under fire really means.
Maybe you should try it... for the children....

Country star Toby Keith was performing for U.S. troops in Afghanistan last week when the military base he was singing at came under fire, according to People. With these Foreign Policy credentials, how can we not elect Toby to the Whitehouse?! ;)

Keith and his band were in the middle of the song "Weed With Willie" when mortar fire on the base in Kandahar erupted I gotta agree with the Taliban's sentiments here. I hate that song.

I heard a story about when the WWF went to Iraq and were shelled during breakfast. One of the wrestlers stayed at the mess hall table throughout the attack and said later he refused to let anybody come between him and his corn flakes.

I recall reading he supports barry hussein obama. I’ll give him some credit for visiting the troops but not a free pass to osama yo mama.

He didn't even have the decency to start the song over?It reminds me of the BBC, interrupted television service in 1939 IIRC because of the war and resumed the cartoon they were playing at the time when the war ended.

Is this song about what I think it is? I really liked Toby when I first heard him, but ever since I found out he hangs with the brain-fried, America hating Willie Nelson, I have lost all respect for him.

Is “Weed With Willie” about smoking dope with Nelson?

Toby Keith was my first foray into Country Music with his red white and blue or boot up the ass song. Loved it and couldn’t stand the Dixie Chicks.
I don’t know a thing about him other than that one song but it started me on listening to country music and I do like some of the songs.

Yep. Although the song is correctly called, “I’ll Never Smoke Weed with Willie Again.”
