Huckabee weighs in on Wright

Huckabee weighs in on Wright TRIBUNE-REVIEW by salena zito I asked former Republican candidate for president and ordained Southern Baptist Minister Mike Huckabee to give his thoughts on Reverend Wright's Q & A session at the National Press Club this morning.

Huckabee was quick to say that his perspective would be coming not so much as from a pastor, but as a candidate and American.

"When Rev. Wright's comments were first exposed, I actually had some sympathetic words for him because I felt his sentiments needed to be put in the context of his own experience of being treated with racism and that being an underlying point of pain and agony for him, but he's now seeming to do it because he enjoys the spotlight," he said.

"I have to wonder if he realizes or even cares that the more he says, the more damage it is doing to Obama."

"Fair or not, it's the way it is. Politics isn't always fair. I know that first hand."

"I wonder if Hillary is really paying for his security force instead of the Farrakhan since she is getting the greatest benefit from this."

Excuse me? Huckabee, if you couldn't smoke this rat out from the get-go, then too bad for you. The remarks he originally made were no less over the top than the ones he made today...whatever the contxt.

Wright is a bigoted, hate-filled, anti-American, race-bating, marxist sack of Bravo Sierra parading around as the preacher of a perverted, absolutely sacreligous interpretation of Christ that turns the Truth of God into an absolute lie.

I am no theologian, but even I can see that for what it is.

...and Obana has been feeding heavily, and tdrinking deeply from that well for over 20 years.

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - OBAMA'S CIRCLE OF FRIENDS AND SUPPORT

Communist Party Members, Marxists, Communist Leaders, Marxist Leaders, Communist Party USA

Domestic bombers & terrorists, International Islamic Terrorist Organizations & Financiers, Fundamental Islamic Leaders

Black Liberation Preachers and militants, New Black Panther Party, Black Nation of Islam, Socialist Party

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY AND OBAMA'S CHURCH

"Not God Bless America, no, no, no, God Damn America!" "911 is America's chickens coming home to roost"

"AIDS was created by the US for black geneocide," "If God is not for us & against whites, then he is a murderer, and we'd best kill him."

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - OBAMA'S IDEOLOGY ON DISPLAY

Che Guevara was a radical, murderous Marxist revolutionary in Argentina, Cuba, and Bolivia. He became Fidel Castro's executioner.
Why, then, is his picture proudly diplayed at Obama election Headquarters? What change does Obama intend. What is his hope?

I never understood what people saw in Huckabee. His inability to denounce Wright’s statements from the first speaks poorly for his judgment and integrity.

Nobody (at any rate, no politician) has denounced Wright’s statements. Why are they all dancing around the issue?

Huckabee is slipping. I didn’t see one snide comment about Mitt Romney. ;-)

Mikey had his 15 minutes of fame. He is evidently having trouble making the most of that 16th minute.

People - we are trying to defeat Obama. Huckabee is old news - why waste your ammo on him? Let's laugh and carry on about this quote:

"I wonder if Hillary is really paying for his security force instead of the Farrakhan since she is getting the greatest benefit from this."

Notice that all of the so called republicans use weasel words when talking about Wright. Their desire for votes, now and in the future, outweighs any sense of right and wrong. Don’t criticize if it might make someone somewhere not vote for him in some election held sometime in the future. What a bunch of jerks we have running this country and the states.

It’s one of Huckabee’s many “Pot meet kettle” moments.

“his own experience of being treated with racism”

and what proof do we have he was treated with racism? and so anyone who’s been treated with racism (whatever that means) has a right to speak this way. well then, a large number of Americans, of all colors, must be better people than Mr. Wright ‘cause I’m fairly certain most of us have been exposed to racism at some point or another.

I think Huckabee made a faulty assumption, one the Obama perpetuated.

Who cares what Mike Huckabee says. He is a tax and spend governor. I never liked him anyways.
