I don’t need to talk to anyone to call sin, sin. Rudy has been in overt sin for years, due to his positions on abortion and his personal marital issues.

I won’t tell you to shut up, because the more you “talk”, the more the paucity of your position is revealed.

I am a practicing Catholic, but I am tired of seeing Mr. Giuliani smeared by the media who has an agenda that is quite Un-Christian. Mr. Giuliani might have shown poor judgement in receiving Communion, but a public scolding, and the singling out of Mr. Giuliani is politically motivated not morally. I know that Mr. Giuliani is a good person and mislead. I live in NYC, and I have seen first hand what a difference Giuliani made. I hope the Cardinal does speak with Giuliani as a Pastor. I was always told that pointing out a person’s flaws in public was wrong, also the character assasination employed by the press and others is sinful. This is against the teaching of the Church. In an interview not very long ago, Buckly had stated that since Vatican II the teaching on abortion had not been very clear as far as Church & State, Mr. Buckley stated that he would have been a stronger opponent but believed that it was a seperate issue. I think we should all pray for Giuliani and not gossip about him in such a cruel & un-christian way. May God Bless Giuliani for his great service to this city and the “true” compassion he showed during 911.
