Obamessiah is so finished. Whites don't trust him because he sat for 20 years in a Kill Whitey church. Blacks don't trust him because he just denounced his 20 year association with his Kill Whitey pastor. The Dems are imploding. And I'm laughing.

Somewhere, Hillary is smiling. And, McCain is smiling even bigger.

Obama's cross-cultural appeal, which, by the way, made some blacks suspicious of him early in his campaign, is largely because of his ability to make white people feel comfortable with his blackness.

so, Obama played the race, race card ?

"When he states and then amplifies such ridiculous proposition as the U.S. government somehow being involved in AIDS, when he suggests that Minister Farrakhan somehow represents one of the greatest voices in the 20th and 21st century, when he equates the United States wartime effort with terrorism, then there are no excuses," Obama said during a press conference.

I thought those were just 'snippets' taken 'out of context'. Now they are inexcusable, but you excused them two weeks ago! And the media won't call him on it.

Probably had a conference call with the Rev before to discern what he would say publicly.

I'm glad Obama had the integrity to denounce the ridiculous AIDS lie that the Wracist Wreverend Wright has been peddling.

I certainly don't intend to vote for him, but for the first time, he is starting to sound presidential to me.

Note to Mary Mitchell - 'Race' doesn't justify perpetrating such insulting (to anybody's intelligence) lies that the US Government is 'out' to make them sick or high on drugs.

And the notion that white pundits can dictate what constitutes unacceptable speech in the black church is repulsive to most black people.

Oh, and people have no right whatsoever to feel offended when certain black churches label all whites as "devils", "slave masters", or "Klansmen?"

This is a sad day for Black America.

At a time when African Americans are on the cusp of watching a barrier come crashing down, up jumps a divisive issue that is being driven by those outside of the black community.

As long as people like you continue to think in terms of "Black America" and "black community", we will never get anywhere.

This is why he was tap dancing around dumping Wright. 90% of blacks were voting for him and keeping him ahead. No he has angered them and the white racist democrats won’t vote for him anyway.

This guy is such an political amatuer.
I have to admit. Hillary has played this one perfectly. He’s now in a no win situation and walked right into the trap.

There is no institution in the black community more respected than the black church.

Past tense. Not "is", but "was"...
When Mr. Wright said what he said, and it was declared to be standard fare amongst 'black churches' I was shocked and disappointed.
This isn't a church, it is a racial club.
And besides, there is no such thing as a "black" church. Or a "white" church. Or brown, or yellow, or whatever.
A church is for all sinners who desire repentance and to worship the LORD.
A pox on these people who turn it into a house of division rather than a House of Prayer and Worship.

Blacks are sacrificing their dignity if they reject Wright’s asinine incitations? When arrogant loudmouths collide.

Disclaimer: I am not going to vote for Obama nor do I wish anyone to do so. That said...

This is good that some are calling him an 'Uncle Tom' simply because it does illustrate the old black playbook of Je$$e, $harpton, and Farrahakahn; call any black who disagrees an 'Uncle Tom'. This is straight from the 60s and it might eventually open some eyes to the typical, and shallow, thinking that democrats have been wanting blacks to do for the past forty years or so. If Obama played this right he could point that out to his young generation of sycophants.

Shutup Mary, you silly twit.

It must be inconceivable to you to imagine, in the black hole where your brain should be, that some of us out here in flyover actually object to a sleeper Muslim Marxist in the White House !

Must be all that honky bitterness driving us, ehh ?

Woman musta been badly beaten with an Idiotville Slugger somewhere along the way...

Yet, never forget, if a White reverend said the sames things as Wright in a White church, reversing it to be anti-Negro, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Black pundits, MSM and their Liberal Democrat allies would have apoplexy to the max! There would be a public lynching for all hands at the White church.

It is so refreshing, after so many years of being force fed that only us typical White folks can be racist, it is nice to see the hypocrites where they live!!!!

It gets even better.

A source close to the Wright ministry is also talking. Here's what that source said in the New York Post today:

The source noted that the roots of Wright's disillusionment with Obama began last year after the Illinois senator unexpectedly yanked him from participating in the public announcement of his presidential campaign.

"That's why Jeremiah revealed . . . that he had actually been at the [announcement] hotel and prayed privately with the Obama family before the official declaration," the source told The Post.

"Rev. Wright, as well as other senior members of his church, believe that Obama has betrayed over 20 years of their supposed friendship."

Obama further angered Wright by trying to distance himself from the pastor ever since videos were made public earlier this year of the preacher alleging that America brought 9/11 upon itself and that people should say "God damn America," not "God bless America."

The source added, "After 20 years of loving Barack like he is one of their own, after he was embraced by this congregation as a brother in Christ, after his pastor was a father figure to him and gave him credibility in a city he had not grown up in and in a black community that was suspect of someone from Hawaii and Harvard, he thanks him by not allowing him to speak publicly at his announcement last year?

"A lot of people in the church believe they were there for this man when no one else was, and a lot of people don't believe it any more when Obama claims he loves the man who did so much for him," the source added.
Whole lot of chickens...coming home to roost.

Not the least of which is Obama's character (because Wright is saying that Obama did know about exactly who Wright was and therfore Obama lied to us all)...and also Obama's judgement in this whole matter and in the matter of Ayers, Rezko, etc.

But Wright speaks to a different audience, and that audience has been supportive throughout his ordeal.

Really? Wow. There is a lot more Racism out there than I thought. In 'Black America'. Personally I just live in regular 'America' without any color on it.
