To answer your question, and many others, sorry for my delay, is no, I did not serve. I have a seizure disorder and even though I tried a few times, the military does not accept people with my condition. I guess having a weapon and seizures don’t mix well.
Yes, I made a HUGE mistake with my title, but I was more angry with the people being interviewed who were upset because they had to leave the child they had with their boyfriend/girlfriend. My gripe and frustration was with the attitude that came across that serving was messing up their plans. I have learned to better think titles through now after the posts and messages to me when I did not mean to put down our military as a whole, just the ones who it wasn’t convenient for after they committed.
