It seemed obvious he was being facetious. He did scim over the facts rather quickly but his point was she always claims she doesnt know about anything illegal she might have done yet claims to be ready to take over the whitehouse on day one.

People could make the same case for FR. We had a much bigger membership during the Clinton years and were never more unified than when we were opposing Clinton. Does that make the anti-McCain sentiment expressed here a conspiracy to get Hillary in office?
Of course that would be a ridiculous argument, but so is the one about Rush.

Rush has addressed that opinion more times than I can remember. In fact, as he mentioned today, a whole chapter in his book refutes that and was written way before this election. His success is unrelated to who is in office. He makes money no mater who is and has proved that for 20 years now. But don't take his word for it. Chris Mathews shares your opinion so you are in high company.

When Clinton was elected people said “Oh, now Rush is finished!” His listener numbers went up.
The second time he was elected they said, “Oh, Rush wants that since it will make him richer.” His listener numbers went up.
When Bush was elected they said “Oh now he is finished without Clinton to Bash.” His listener numbers went up.
So far nothing has made them dip and they only keep going up. So the idea that he really NEED someone to bash is silly. Congress and Mcain would give him huge piles of material to use. Plus he is already rich.
