Charles Krauthammer on May 2nd in the Washington Post:
... the speech was not just believed. It was hailed, celebrated, canonized as the greatest pronouncement on race in America since Lincoln at Cooper Union. A New York Times columnist said it "should be required reading in classrooms across the country." College seniors and first-graders, suggested the excitable Chris Matthews.
In fact Chris Matthews had a virtually sexual reaction to Obama’s speech:

The concern among the people who are contemplating the electoral slate presented by the Democrats is whether Obama is a younger, more attractive Wright who believes what Wright believes but has learned to talk in such a way as to seduce whites. For Chris "thrill up my leg" Matthews, the seduction is complete.
Sums up the facts about formal education nicely.
Obama is as much a racist as Rev. Wright is. IF Obama were to win the presidential election, it’s a done deal and we would be stuck with a radical racist in the White House, like it or not.
Educated? He misuses words more than the average educated person. The content of his message is sometimes downright goofy.
Glen Beck performed a valuable community service yesterday by playing, in toto, one of the rev's bile provoking sermons, wherein wright once again put the blood of our Lord squarely and by name on Italians.
I'm ok w/ that, afterall we are all responsible for that murder, my problem is that the "good" rev left himself out of the lynching party. Not merely leaving himself out, but climbed up on the Cross w/ Christ!
There is no understanding of wright that is more important than that. He, and his kind, are on the cross w/ Christ and we, Italians and other white folks, are the lynching party.

Below is an excerpt from a letter a friend of mine received from mine received from a missionary couple currently working in Kenya. I have no way to verify it, neither do I have reason to doubt it. I’ll let others judge its veracity:

If this letter is real, and I trust it is because you said so, it deserves it’s own thread.
In retrospect it has now become the Greatest Political BS speech in the history of the world.
That whole speech was fraudulent, no matter what the NY Times and Chris Matthews says.
Obama’s “Race Speech” said only three things;
1) It’s a black thing
2) Whitey can’t understand
3) Get used to it
