Paul: Not ready to endorse McCain, likes Obama's foreign policy
CNN ^ | 5/2/08 | Martina Stewart

Even though Rep. Ron Paul has never officially ended his long shot presidential bid, he’s ready to weigh in on the three remaining major candidates for the White House.

In an interview on The Situation Room, Paul told Wolf Blitzer that endorsing Sen. John McCain, the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, “would really confuse” his supporters “because they know we have a precise program and we have to defend that program.”

Having a Republican win the upcoming presidential election is “secondary” for Paul who is more interested in defending the Constitution, having the country go in what he considers the right direction, having a sound currency, and achieving balanced budgets. Paul parts ways with McCain over McCain’s support for the Iraq war, his approach to U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and his willingness to spend federal dollars to support military operations in Iraq.

Instead, Paul favors Sen. Barack Obama because of positions on foreign policy. “But that’s doesn’t mean that’s an endorsement,” Paul quickly added.

Paul recently released a new book titled “The Revolution: a Manifesto.” “Unfortunately, it is revolutionary to talk about obeying the Constitution,” Paul said of the book’s title.

Oh, yeah. There's a shocker.

He claims to be a Constitutionalist, yet favors a candidate who is radically pro-abortion, a thorough-going statist, and friend of Marxists and radicals. Logic is obviously not PLO Paul’s forte.

Unfortunatel;y Ron Paul has as much chance of being President as A wallet left in the Senate cloakroon has of being returned to its rightful owner.. The money would be missing and the wallet thrown in the trash..

Without a revolution the United States just might be SCREWED..

What’s up with all the Ron Paul threads lately. The people of America told him they don’t want him around or his opinions either. (shut up and smoke)

This should disqualify Ron Paul supporters from being chosen to be McCain delegates to the convention.

Does Ron Paul think it is reasonable to send his supporters in to subvert the democratic process, or are they acting without his approval?

I posted this yesterday re the Paulites

They are Useful Idiots for the Left as that is who wins in the end.
McCain not my first choice but he supports far more conservative and moderate issues than the far left Obama or Hitlery who will be the winners thanks to the Paulites

If Obama or Hitlery wins, the Constitution will be trashed
as Marxists and IslamOfascists will be in control.

It just proves L Ron Paul only uses the Constitution more as a weapon to suck his followers into his support for Marxists candidates. L Ron Paul hates the Constitution
just as the Liberals hate the blacks and use them for voters by keeping them on the plantation.

Get a clue.

“If Obama or Hitlery wins, the Constitution will be trashed”

And yet of the three, McFeingold is the only one to have actually authored legislation that directly attacked the U.S. Constitution.

Paul told Wolf Blitzer that endorsing Sen. John McCain, the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, “would really confuse” his supporters

I can't help but snicker at that comment. Certainly he wouldn't want his supporters to be confused, or is that more confused.

As I posted several months back, by June, Ron Paul will be mostly forgotten. I stand by that prediction. Thanks for the donation.

and L Ron Paul would like to see the Constitution taken out by the IslamOfascists who he refuses to see as an enemy to fight against.

“Ron Paul Must Shut Up. There is to be NO DISSENT in the Republican Party. All dissenters shall suffer the consequences of their disloyalty.”

What you’re doing isn’t dissent. It’s aid and comfort to the Democratic Party. Either join them, or go the Libertarians, but quit stabbing the GOP in the back.

Anyone who has read his new book will notice his critisisms of the foreign policy positions of all three top candidates, most specifically Obama’s.

So, I call BS on this article.
