Well figure it out. The name of his party was, in English, the National socialist party. It was socialism What does that tell you?

“National Socialist German Workers’ Party” is pretty self explanatory

Let’s see. Right wingers believe in concepts like freedom and personal responsibility.

Left wingers believe that it is the job of government to take care of you and solve all of society’s problems. To achieve this, they believe in massive taxation and large government programs.

Can you think even a single example of Hitler advocating freedom and personal liberty? No, of course not. He came to power by telling people that their problems were all caused by others. Their problems were not their fault. This is, of course, the same rhetoric used by liberals in the US today.

Although there are no instances of Hitler advocating individual liberty and personal responsibility, I can certainly think of a large government program he favored.

Hitler was right-wing, because Republicans, who want to kill the poor, and force women to have babies, and hate people who are different than they are, are JUST LIKE HITLER!!!

What created the conditions for Hitler’s rise was the hopelessness of an economy destroyed by WW1 and crushing reparations that no German alive at the time would live long enough to see paid off.

Socialism was an attractive ‘out’ for the country, it offered the false promise of prosperity thru redistribution, and within the context of what the National Socialists offered, redistribution of wealth stolen from the Countries they invaded.

The Hitlers of the world will always choose the path of least resistance to power. If the dominant political ‘desire’ of Germans at the time was for genetically enginereed, flying Unicorns, he would have offered it.

Was Hitler right or left? He was an Authoritarian with a racist grudge presiding over a humiliated people desperate to have back what they’d lost. He was whatever he needed to be to achieve power. All Authoritarians are.

Hitler was right-wing, because Republicans, who invented AIDS to kill gay people, and want to kill the poor, and force women to have babies, and hate people who are different than they are, are JUST LIKE HITLER!!!

Can't argue with left-wing logic.

Think about this -

leftists do not support ANY freedoms other than those pertaining to consequence free sexual behavior decisions.

All other aspects of your life, from the food you are allowed to eat, the kind of car you are allowed to drive, the kinds of light bulbs you use, the amount of energy you use, your income and how it is distributed to “charity”, and even the amount of water you use when you flush your toilet,

should be heavily taxed, regulated, required or forbidden, using the force of gov’t to enforce the leftists’ will on the individual.

Now, does that match with Hitler or Jefferson?

Hitler was an extreme right winger. No joke. He was what historian Paul Johnson calls an “Easterner” in German political thought.

The “Western” German thought believed in a culture of freedom and liberty...the Easterners believed in a culture of German superiority.

But he was totalitarian right wing, just as Lenin was totalitarian left wing. Both were evil men.

What is scary about Hitler is that he used charm and seduction to get his power—he convinced the German nation to put power in his hands. Lenin did not do that: in Johnson’s words, he “raped” Russia—seizing power.

Of course, once both men got the power they refused to relinquish any.

”(Hitler) believed in a culture of German superiority.”

Who am I?

1. I have a special understanding of our environment you do not.
2. I have a special understanding of our children’s needs you do not.
3. I have a special understanding of the poor and the oppressed you do not.
4. I can lie, cheat or steal if it is for a greater good you can not.
5. I have a vision of a perfect world that can be created if it wasn’t for people like you.

Who am I?

The only important difference between Nazi-ism, Fascism,
Communism, Socialism and Liberalism is the spelling, and
that the last group hasn't got the brains to figure it
out.
- Bill Vance

I would add Islamo-ism to the above list!

Was hitler left or right wing?

First of all, I refuse to buy into the idea that there even is a "right wing". IOW: being conservative is the definition of NOT being on any wing or fringe of any kind, rather it is the very essence of centrism.

Secondly, I find it amazing but apparently true that an entire nation of otherwise intelligent and presumably rational people could adopt a socialist outlook. And I find it embarassing to admit that these are my people a few generations back.

Socialism is a disease of the mind.
