If Hillary wins the primary, Obama supporters may vote for Nader and split the votes. It will be fun.

If Obama wins, media will ignore him, but moderate Dems will vote for McCain. All the Dems I know, said they will vote McCain if Obama wins the primary.

Nader is a very strange guy, but I heard him speak once at a college, and he has a mind like an enclyclopedia. He spoke for a few hours, only looking at notes to remind himself of topics he wanted to cover. Remember when Phil Donahue supported him? I doubt if many celebrities will make that mistake again, but elitists at colleges like the guy.

I hope he’s still running. He’s the closest thing to a conservative in this years race.

I heard a clip of him on Colbert, a year or two ago: “It’s my windshield, why can I go flying through it?” he asked Nader.

I THINK you were making a funny there.

I’d laugh, if it weren’t so sad... Nader IS to the left of McCain but not by all that much!

You forgot the /sarc tag.

Unless you're referring to the fact that the political spectrum doesn't actually run a single line from "right" to "left", but rather is a big "loop" and Nader crosses that freaky line way in the back where the left fringe meets the right fringe.

But mainly I think you just forgot the /sarc tag.

>> political spectrum ... is a big “loop”

Thank you! You have closed the loop on the burning question of our time: why is it that EVERY SINGLE POLITICIAN is a loopy fruit loop!

In a just world, you’d earn a Nobel Prize for that (but the Peace Prize Norwegians are a bit loopy themselves...)

Well its not so much that Nader is anywhere close to being conservative. Its just that the separation between him and McCain or Hillary or Obama isn’t all that much compared to the distance from any of them to a true conservative candidate.

A lament is what it is I guess.

From post 15 “He spoke for a few hours, only looking at notes to remind himself of topics he wanted to cover.”

Although he is probably not as good of a speaker as Clinton or Kennedy (sarc), my hat goes off to anyone who can speak for an hour or so with few if any notes.

I listened to a maritime lawyer speak continuous for slightly over one hour with no notes. There were no ummms, uhhhs, or you know, in his presentation. It was flawless. Toward the end, I was far more interested in his speaking abilities than the content of his speech.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I’m sort of glad that people don’t actually know if Ralph Nader is running.

The goal of people like Ralph Nader seems to be to capture a few percentage points and then use those to leverage power in a tight race to demand that they be listened to.

If his methods are failing, then good.
