Democrat leaders are racist

Democratic Party leaders claim to care about the little guy.

They also claim to be champions of minorities.

Neither of those assertions is true.

I will prove it to you with a couple of case studies.

Recently, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., a major supporter of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's bid for the Democratic Party presidential nomination over Barack Hussein Obama, gave a speech at the Buffalo Museum of Science. He talked about joblessness – a hot topic in Buffalo.

If you have visited Buffalo recently, you know it is a severely depressed metropolitan area. It is depressingly depressed – with an unemployment rate exceeding 17 percent. Those are not recession numbers. Those are depression numbers.

The rate of black unemployment in Buffalo is even higher. But Schumer had some words of encouragement for black men in the area – at least he thought they were words of comfort.

He said blacks could expect in the next few years to have their pick of unskilled and semi-skilled jobs that required little education, because baby boomers would soon begin leaving the workforce in big numbers. "The Bureau_of_Labor Statistics estimates that 75 percent of the new jobs in the next 10 years will not require a college degree," Schumer said.

So, there you go all you young black men, Schumer implied. Take heart. There will be plenty of unskilled jobs for you if you wait around for the next few years. Don't bother getting a college education in the meantime, because we know that's not your thing.

Have you ever heard such paternalistic, plantation-mentality condescension in your life?

And this is not an uncommon attitude among Democratic leaders like Schumer.

Even the Democrats from New York are not that far removed from the Jim_Crow mentality that dominated their party a generation ago.

Their interest only goes as far as minorities’ money and votes.

They won’t live in a minority neighborhood or send their kids to minority-majority schools. They only run with the elites like the Obamas and Vernon Jordans.

Everyone else is inferior scum.

Democrat leaders may be racist, but Joseph Farah is still a loon.

17%? That can’t be right. Why would people continue to live there if it’s that bad a job market? Move to where the jobs are. Not Michigan, but surely with a 5% national unemployment rate there are greener pastures than the frozen tundra of Buffalo.

Ahhh, they don’t ‘really’ run w/ Obammys either.

Reminds me of when the restaurant chain “Sambo’s” was run out of business.

This is Farah’s way of “softening” his soon-to-back-McCain column as he did Bush in 2004 after slamming Bush every which way but sundown. His Dir. of Ops Kupelian just wrote a pro-McCain piece yesterday and is endorsing him. SO much for “the conservative WND!”

That may be so, but their voters are satisfied because they talk of the “common man” rhetoric, as they have since 1825.

Only every time a Democrat opens their mouth on the issue of race.
