Border Ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
Before the two defenders for Johnny Sutton show up, let us remember that the perp drug runner just got 6 years for his smuggling of loads after this one. Less time than these agents got...for doing their job.
PING!
RAMOS/COMPEAN Ping
Please freepmail me if you want on or off this list.

Since my helicopter is in the shop and driving to Sepulveda & Mullholland in time for an 8PM showing would be next to impossible unless I left now LOL;
I’ll just have to make a donation online. :-]
But thanks for the heads up!
But, but, but... he was just a little mule... he needed money for his mother’s doctor bills... he needed money to renew his commercial driver’s license... he didn’t know he had 700 pounds of marijuana in the van... he didn’t know who hired him... he didn’t know where the stash house he was driving to was... he can’t remember what clinic he went to for medical treatment... etc. etc....
All those lies, encouraged by prosecutors (Sutton’s minions), despite the fact that the smuggler had already been caught in subsequent smuggling operations and used his DOJ-issued Border Crossing card to enable his smuggling, to boot.
Next thing ya know, they’ll find a reason to let him loose early and send him back to his cartel. (He still doesn’t show up as being in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons).

Grateful and proud of you for doing this for these two heroes who are being tortured by Bush and Sutton not to mention the terrible suffering their families are enduring and all for trying to defend America!! Let us never stop pressuring for these two men to receive justice and be let free!! with reparation!!!
Thank, B. I mailed a check to help them out today.
Hope you saw “60 Minutes” last night: “It was about District Attorney Henry Wade. Wade was Dallas’ top prosecutor for more than 30 years. He never lost a case he handled personally.”
Well, it turns out he was hiding evidence and using bias in his cases. What is it with these Texas prosecutors?! [Johnny Sutton comes to mind, eh?] Fortunately, when the new guy, Craig Watkins, became the district attorney in Dallas last year, [the first black D.A.], he started doing his best to restore justice to the those unjustly prosecuted.
It was inspirational to see the grace with which these people who were truly abused by the Texas justice system accepted their fate. Meanwhile, Al Sharpton runs around in his expensive suits trying to get face time yelling about some yuppie who was denied a corporate perk.
"Border" is a fantastic documentary.
I saw it at The Helen Mills Theater a while back and was amazed at how well Burgard managed to fare with such a limited budget.
Thank you for reminding me, I meant to order the movie, “Border”
^
It's probably the only film I've seen dealing with this subject, which is actually worth watching.
Aside from a brief segment featuring Congressman Tancredo there isn't much focus on the policy end, but you get the picture, i.e. why so many officials in D.C. have sold us down the river.
There's a lot of emphasis on the human toll mass illegality-and its acceptance by the political class-has taken on this country, especially in border towns.
