Why can't we take no for an answer?

Let the thug nations take care of them.

The Drive Bys will still try to find a way to blame Bush. Other than invading the country, what else can we do?

Let the thug nations take care of them.

With an answer like this, no wonder the left thinks we are cold

As if the Left really cares about the poor suffering peasants of Myanmar. I don’t care but at least I’m honest.

The Left just likes to funnel millions of aid dollars toward brown people so they can feel good about THEMSELVES, and relieve their guilt over their racism.

Not like the money ever gets to the homeless peasants - instead it will go to the thug regime.

no wonder the left thinks we are cold

They will ALWAYS think that way, regardless of the answer or view.

Forward this video to :59 for one of the best things you have ever heard in regard to this issue. It is only 35 seconds long, but speaks volumes!

Agreed!

We offered, but they hate us and said no.

If the U.S. is desperate to get rid of that money, let’s focus it on our veterans and their families.

Give me a break, you are so concerned about what the Left thinks??? “With an answer like this, no wonder the left thinks we are cold”
So you are of the school that GWB should forcefully take our taxpayer money and force another Government to accept it...that sounds pretty much like the typical Lefty or Compassionate Repub plan...
Oh yeah, the GWB bots just cannot give away enough $$ to the World's oppressed! So Kalin are you also in favor of paying more TAXES so our merciful leaders can dole it out as they see fit?

Instead of assuming they are all Muslims, why don't you do a search and find out.

Religions: Buddhist 89%, Christian 4% (Baptist 3%, Roman Catholic 1%), Islam 4%, Animist 1%, other 2%

With the USA running a $4 trillion deficit/debt and there is a sinking dollar, oil pricing running out of control we are still generous enough to render aid to people anywhere in the world.

Conversely Oil Rich countries (Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Russia, etc) dont seem to care diddly squat except to sit on their collective asses and give a mere token nod or a few millions to ease their consciences.

“First lady Laura Bush on Monday also appeared to link the provision of additional aid, beyond the initial infusion of $250,000 from a U.S. Embassy emergency fund, to entry permission for the assessment team.”

And there you have it - the mind behind Jorge. Jorge, the President who spends U.S> money like water overseas. This is a thug government - let them solve their own problems.

Actually the French are right on this one.

But Jorge - like most globalists - wants to be President of the World instead of the U.S.

You think another President wouldn’t try to help in a situation like that?

Not for nothing but it is amazing that the Prez and his wife want to help the disaster victims in Burma so quickly and he was so slow after Katrina.

“...but we want to do a lot more...”

Hey, Jorge, who is “we”?

It’s not your money.
