WASHINGTON -- Tuesday's voting in Indiana and North Carolina put Hillary Rodham Clinton no closer to overtaking Barack Obama on the path to the Democratic presidential nomination. That now leaves Clinton with one overriding task: to make the path longer.
For most of the year, June 3 beckoned as the end of an exhausting nominating calendar, the day that the final states hold primaries to choose between Clinton and Obama. But now, Clinton is preparing to push the contest beyond the voting phase of the process and into the realm of committee meetings and credentialing rules, where her campaign believes she may have a chance to overtake Obama before the party's nominating convention in late August.

Clinton is preparing to push the contest beyond the voting phase of the process and into the realm of committee meetings and credentialing rules Won't do her one blessed bit of good, ultimately.
Even the dimmest, most addle-witted 'rat politico can count on their own fingers and toes well enough... and: it doesn't take much in the way of higher calculus for any one of them to arrive at the final sum of: ('Rat Party In '08) - (80% Or More Of A Thoroughly Hacked-Off African-American Voting Base) = (No White House, Not Now, Not Thirty Years From Now).
They'll give her a hearing, certainly, in order to decently hear her out while she attempts to erect whatever spindly, unconvincing sort of "case" she may genuinely believe she still has, at this late date -- they owe her that much at least, if only by way of baseline common courtesy --
... but, actually dynamite their own party to bloody, bite-sized bits, solely on her cackled say-so?
Magic Eightball Sez: "Nahhhhhhhhh." ;)

Thus ticking off the black vote and far left. This is so entertaining. If only the Republicans were running a real conservative like Hunter. Then it would be perfect.

Her case will be "But I deserve this, and I was born to be the supreme leader"!I hope someone on her staff thinks to dress her up in the cute, coral pink "formal" straitjacket, for the occasion. ;)

Good point. I predict that the loss will make Bill wither away. Hillary, however, will use her hatefulness to keep her going.
To: Cementjungle
I’m just glad I’m not one of the suckers (caterers, printers, etc.) who allowed her campaign to use their services on credit.

I think Clinton is done for good. I could even see her losing her Senate race if she decides to run. She would have been gone long ago had Republicans not given her Texas.
She was swilling beer and doing shots at the end still trying to "hone her persona". She even resorted to threatening nuclear war with Iran.

Pat Buchanan denied that she would do this, saying that she would bow out, trying to protect the Clinton 'legacy'
Pat Buchanan is an idiot.

I could even see her losing her Senate race if she decides to run. I think so also, espically if the Blacks see her as contributing to Obama's loss by dragging out the nomination.
Also, if Rudy would run against her, he would have a good shot at beating her.
Weren't these the two that the 'experts' thought were going to be nominees in Nov?

I know a Pyrrhic victory at best without a GOP candidate. But, they deserve it for doing the same to us and creating McCain as the candidate.

Remember, the credentials committee is controlled by Hillary's flying monkeys.
She does not care if the DemocRAT party is in the extreme minority for the next 100 years; it isall about her.

I don’t care what Hillary does. I have an awful picture in my mind of Michelle Obama in the White House. argh!
Whatever happens, there is no victory this time. We are stuck with a totally useless lackluster candidate who thinks he can win by being a nice liberal.
Hope the RAT convention is interesting.

Yep, you can’t vote for Obama at the Convention in Denver if you can’t get in. and Clintanoids control all the doors.

(I am seriously worried about Bill. I hope he's got a fake wig and one of those noses and has lined up something like a submarine for fast escape.)
