Hate and not caring are two totally different things!! hehe

Liberals are the haters...they want to force veryone to do what they want whether you like it or not. Sounds eerily like a certain cult-religion that worships a pedophile and flies planes into buildings.

Conservatives dont care about anyone which is why we are the top charitable givers? Last weekend, I was standing in the rain, collecting for a local charity at a drive-up window.
The most violent refuser drove off on a snit.
His bumper sticker read, "Had Enough? Vote Democrat!".
I was not surprised. Mean, bitter, hateful and unattractive frustrated people, who cover it up with a "Fellowship Of Man" speech to distract people from the reality.
NO "W'04" sticker-bearing car refused. I amused myself with the little informal survey. I had no initial intention of doing so, but after the first half-hour, patterns began to emerge.

Conservatives also are more likely to be married, have more children, have more and better sex, give more to charitable causes and are more likely to have religious faith.
Lefties, OTOH, are justifiably bitter, miserable and unhappy. Who wouldn’t be if you were in their shoes?

As a conservative, I feel totally victimized by this study. Anyone care to join me in a class action lawsuit?

Today on the radio, Dr. Dean Edell said, scientifically speaking of course, that there really are brain differences between conservatives and liberals - the right and the left brain.
The right brain, conservatives, tend to be rigid..which would explain Presiden’t Bush’s unbending push into Iraq and his inability to listen to anyone else.(his words, not mine), Liberals, however, tend to be more open minded, willing to be open to more ideas...which has been proven over the ages.
This was a special Dean Edell MEDICAL MINUTE today. I kid you not.

I don't have people. I care quite deeply about other people. I simply don't believe that total equality of the sort that the left pitches is possible and know that attempts to force that sort of equality are worse for everyone. The horrors of communism weren't the results of them getting it wrong. They were the results of them trying to force something that just doesn't work.
To: Hildy
How unusual. Every time I’ve heard him talk, he’s claiming that the real problem in this country is that the French let their kids drink wine and we don’t. That’s why the US has such an alcohol problem.

Liberals, however, tend to be more open minded, willing to be open to more ideas...which has been proven over the ages. Open to new ideas like Communism, which has never, in the history of the Earth, worked and is usually accompanied by the murder of huge numbers of its citizens, but, hey, let's try it!

I guess we conservatives don't have the love in our hearts like liberals.

Yeah... Conservatives believe there is a right and wrong. Liberals feel that every point of view has equal merit. It has nothing to do with having an “open mind.” Believing in falsehoods or in the happy unreality that everything is equal is simply fooling yourself.
To: RJL
Horse crap. There are dozens of threads on this site alone where liberals have tried to shout down, intimidate, and assault those who dared to not agree with them.

I can't remember if it was in Liberal Fascism or a column, but Jonah Goldberg recently noted that the leftist effort to portray conservatives as mentally aberrant or even ill goes back decades, and in light of communists' use of psychiatry and mental hospitals to punish dissent, more than a little creepy. That there is an upsurge of this kind of research recently is unsurprising.

No thanks. I’m too busy being happy, having sex and living the good life. Maybe I’d be willing to contribute if you set up a charity...

The two "researchers," John Jost and Jaime Napier of New York University, claim an interest in understanding why religious extremism is connected to conservatives. Both have interests in "political conservatism and religious fundamentalism" wherein they seem to assume that conservatives are but fascists in deed if not name.
These liberals believe that any Christian church-goer is a "fundamentalist." The fact is that the reason why conservative economic philosophy is closely linked to conservative social (religious) philosophy is because the left has cast out religion. The left believes that we have "outgrown" religion and that it's a "crutch" for the weak-willed.
If government is supposed to solve your problems and be in charge of re-distribution to solve the inequality problems, then it must be the highest power in the land. The idea of God is in conflict with modern-day liberalism.
After being rejected by the left, Christianity has found a happy home in Conservative principles of reaping what you sow, self-responsibility, and the idea of self-actualization.

I don’t hate the stupid, I just feel sorry for them. That covers 90% of the liberals I know.
To: Mobile Vulgus
We don't hate people, we just set the bar for expectations really really really low.
Jimmy Carter once said he believed people were basically good. That's why liberals are so miserable. They just need to admit that in general, people suck.
