If you are foolish enough to count on the U.N to do and or accomplish anything then you need to read more on the accomplishments or lack of concerning the U.N.

Any aid that goes in without supervision will end up on the black market and the proceeds will go into numbered bank accounts. If the people suffer from lack of aid, The U.S. and George Bush will be blamed by the UN, the MSM and the Democrat Party. To tinhorn dictators and too many American politicians, human life only has value when it can be converted into political capital. Maybe the people of Myanmar will be motivated to kick the facist scum into their graves where they belong.
Who will bell the cat? Is the UN likely to commit to an occupation and a guerrilla war? The same UN that has watched Darfur die? I didn’t think so.
