Massapequa native Alec Baldwin says he may one day run for political office, though he doesn't say where.
In an interview scheduled to air Sunday on CBS's "60 Minutes," the actor says that, now that he's 50, "There's other things I want to do."

Ya’ mean he’s grown tired of putting down America at every opportunity?

His acting career consisted of “Hunt for Red October” and “Beetlejuice.” Other than that, most of his gigs were lousy movies or bit parts.
He is a perfect lib. “Only the government knows how to do things!” Personal liberties are for the elite only. Everyone else stand in line and be grateful that we don’t start Gulags!
To: JohnLongIsland
These days, he could probably get elected, too.

And Outside Providence — that was funnier than Red October but not as good, obviously.

The only thing he is qualified for is Dog Catcher, and he would need a waiver for that!

Could only wish for that. I got to meet him and some of the other Firefly crowd a dragoncon sometime back. All of them seemed like really good people and appreciated the big crowd that would line up for their stuff. I also esp. got to talk to Ron Glass at one. I loved Barney Miller a lot too.

That sounds great, you’re lucky. I have heard Adam is very quiet and soft spoken, the usual characters he plays is completely different than his true nature.

He was very much that when I met him. A class act, I can say the same for the rest of the Firefly cast. It took netflix to make me watch it. I never saw it during the network run.
My wife nexflixed it and I was passing through the living room and saw the two plastic dinosaurs voiced by Wash. That got me watching and seeing that Ron Glass was on the show pretty much made me a browncoat.
Dragoncon is something else and is a sensory overload. You won't be bored, there is always something or someone around. I have gotten to meet a lot of my favorites from the shows I loved as a kid.

One of my good friends saw that festering idiot on Hudson St. by the White Horse tavern in NYC. He was yelling at a meter maid who had just issued him a ticket. My buddy yelled across the street when was he was moving to France and bubble head Barrwin hit the slicer like 10lbs of baloney in a 5lb bag. The guy is lunch meat. He can dish it out, but he can't take it, not one bit.
