One Palestinian was killed and another was arrested following a gunfight with two settlers north of Ramallah Friday afternoon.
The settlers claimed that the two Palestinians opened fire at them while they were hiking in the area, and that they fired back in response.
According to the settlers, the Palestinians were found to be in the possession of a shotgun.
There were no injuries among the settlers. The IDF is investigating the incident.
At about 4:00 pm, a group of Israelis who went for a hike north of Ramallah reported being shot at by Palestinians. They also said they killed one of the shooters.
An IDF force arrived at the scene soon after and arrested one of the Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources told Ynet that the man killed is Rashed Ali, a hunter who has been operating in the area for years. They said that he had no known affiliation with any of the Palestinian armed factions.

Did he have his Jew-hunting license?
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
No, but the settlers clearly had their Pali licenses.

Per the dems, Rashed Ali should be armed. He's a hunter. But the "settlers", they've no more right to firearms than our ancestors who "settled" the west.
If true, there's a tourism opportunity for the palestinians. But then they can't even make a success out of a casino, due to their obligation to kill the patrons.
So then where’s his orange safety vest?
Palestinians hunt birds, particularly quails & nightingales. I don’t know what is legal or not, but there is a Palestine Wildlife Society with several hundred registered hunters. There is or was at least once hunting club in Bethlehem. I don’t know if there is a Palestinian hunting license, but there is a Jordanian one that some of them use. I doubt most use licenses.
Palestinians come up with some of the best excuses I've ever heard.
I think they meant he was a hunter, innocent until paraded hero, of Israelis.
“The hunter became the hunted!” Allahu fubar!
Not much to hunt for in Ramallah, unless you eat rocks. The only wild life in all of that area of Israel is Ibex antelope. A shotgun would be useless for that kind of hunting.
Strange. I thought Muslims were better liars.
