In an article appearing in the Los Angeles Times, actor Martin Sheen was quoted in a letter he wrote to the Malibu Times about the use of fluoride by the Metropolitan Water District. "We are not lab rats and reject any attempt to be treated as such," he penned.

Huh?

Where do these people come from? Isn’t the prevention of tooth decay high on the to-do list of environmental worshipers? At what point will these people just leave the rest of us alone? In the interest of full disclosure, I twice briefly met Mr. Sheen years ago and found him to be a real gentleman, but he seems to frequently go off the deep end, as do many of his like-minded Hollywierd friends.

They'll leave us alone when people stop going along with their schemes by supporting those in the criminal class who put the schemes into effect. Sadly, I see anti-smoking, globaloney warming, and embryonic stem cell initiatives continuing to flourish in state after state which only encourages more of the same.

You’re right! It must be a conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids!

Adding fluoride to water for the treatment of tooth decay is like taking a small dose of chemotherapy every day just in case you might get cancer.

Think about it - not only do you get fluoride every time you drink water, you get it in any food product that was grown or processed in fluoridated water. So, someone who drinks a lot of fluoridated water, brushes their teeth with fluoridated tooth paste, rinses their mouth with fluoridated mouth wash or water, and eats food prepared with fluoridated water gets a ??? dose. Would you take any other chemical without knowing the amount you were putting in your body ? If I drink one glass of water a day and you drink 8, do you need that much fluoride, or do I need more?

It was never a good idea to put it in water, and it still isn’t.

Ripper:

through his cigar Mandrake,

Mandrake:

Yes, Jack?

Ripper:

Have you ever seen a commie drink a glass of water?

Mandrake:

Well, no I... I can’t say I have, Jack.

Ripper:

Vodka. That’s what they drink, isn’t it? Never water?

Mandrake:

Well I... I believe that’s what they drink, Jack. Yes.

Ripper:

On no account will a commie ever drink water, and not without good reason.

Mandrake:

Oh, ah, yes. I don’t quite.. see what you’re getting at, Jack.

Ripper:

Water. That’s what I’m getting at. Water. Mandrake, water is the source of all life. Seven tenths of this earth’s surface is water. Why, you realize that.. seventy percent of you is water.

Mandrake:

Uhhh God...

Ripper:

And as human beings, you and I need fresh, pure water to replenish our precious bodily fluids.

Mandrake:

Yes. chuckles nervously

Ripper:

You beginning to understand?

Mandrake:

Yes. chuckles. begins laughing/crying quietly

Ripper:

Mandrake. Mandrake, have you never wondered why I drink only distilled water, or rain water, and only pure grain alcohol?

Mandrake:

Well it did occur to me, Jack, yes.

Ripper:

Have you ever heard of a thing called fluoridation? Fluoridation of water?

Mandrake:

Ah, yes, I have heard of that, Jack. Yes.

Ripper:

Well do you now what it is?

Mandrake:

No. No, I don’t know what it is. No.

Ripper:

Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face?

Mandrake:

laughs Jack, don’t you think we’d be better off in some other part of the room, away from all this flying glass?

Ripper:

Ah, naah. We’re ok here. Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridated water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk, ice cream? Ice cream, Mandrake. Children’s ice cream?

Mandrake:

Good Lord.

Ripper:

You know when fluoridation first began?

Mandrake:

No. No, I don’t, Jack. No.

Ripper:

Nineteen hundred and forty six. Nineteen fortysix, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your postwar commie conspiracy, huh? It’s incredibly obvious, isn’t it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual, and certainly without any choice. That’s the way your hard core commie works.

Mandrake:

Jack... Jack, listen, tell me, ah... when did you first become, well, develop this theory.

Ripper:

Well, I ah, I I first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love.

Mandrake:

sighs fearfully

Ripper:

Yes a profound sense of fatigue, a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I was able to interpret these feelings correctly: loss of essence.

Mandrake:

Yes...

Ripper:

I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women... women sense my power, and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid women, Mandrake, but I do deny them my essence.

Regardless of which side of the fluoridation debate you fall on, the fluoride chemicals used for fluoridation are called silicofluorides and are impure waste products of the phosphate fertilizer industry. NSF International which regulates public water supply chemicals allows trace amounts of lead, arsenic, mercury, and other toxins to remain in the fluoridation chemicals as they are poured into your public water supply.

Any good environmentalist should oppose dumping industry’s waste all over our lawns, backyards, in our swimming pools and flushed into our waste water streams. It’s great for the phosphate fertilizer industry who gets paid to dump their toxic waste all over us but not so good for the environment and the people who live in it.
