The Republican Party has officially become a branch of the Warmist cult. Disgusting. It links to an introduction to the turd McCain's idiotic and potentially catastrophic "cap and trade" charade, and a "green pledge" for people who want to show how stupid they are.

The presentation on the McCain website is one of the stupidest, most dishonest pieces of economically-illiterate trash I have ever seen. It actually tries to argue that regulations would INCREASE American jobs. What a preposterous lie, and what an absolute turd of a nominee.

This may be sinful, but I am beginning to think he should say he is pro cap and trade to get elected.

And then do nothing.

He's been saying that for months, and I don't think it's just to get elected. That's wishful thinking; he actually believes this blather.

And then do nothing.

I wish, but he wouldn't want to anger his Democrat buddies in the Senate. Plus he's a member of this stupid cult.

When does the Amnesty video premier?

It's truly incredible that McCain and the entire GOP establishment would decide to get on this train just when it's going over a cliff. The aggregate scientific opinion and public opinion is definitely shifting away from the Gorian hysteria.

What are these idiots thinking? That they can just repeal this cap and trade scheme once it becomes obvious the whole thing was a scam? Can't you just see it? "Us leftists, it turns out, were wrong about global warming. It's not happening. Therefore we will work to give up all the control over your lives we obtained pushing the theory. Sorry for the inconvenience, and all the starving to death and all that." Right.

It's amazing how delusional people can get. But there is one thing you can always count on , and that it the relative stupidity of humanity

A couple of months back I fought against a teacher in my school for showing Al Gorebatron's award-winning sham-of-a-movie. We clashed over the issue of man-made global warming.

My actions caused him to look deeper into the issue, and he today approached me and revealed this to me. He came to agree that we are not warming, but actually cooling for about the next ten years

One more point for TRUTH

Like The Episcopal Church, the once proud GOP has been taken over by leftists. And, like The Episcopal Church, the GOP is doomed to failure.

First, anmnesty. Now this. The GOP can suck olives in November for all I care. I'm voting third-party.

Actually, he's been saying it for five years, at least, when he and lieberman introduced their "Climate Stewardship Act."

Michael Milken's cronies have been working on this trading scam for over a decade. I think they've completed Beta testing and are looking for the big payoff now.

Not only that, but the little meter thing for American jobs starts at below half. It makes it look like we have an unemployment rate of 55% or some such.

It’s populist garbage at it’s worst.

It actually tries to argue that regulations would INCREASE American jobs.

This is what ClintoNx1 was talking about back in the late 90s.

If any of us tried to do something like this we'd be thrown in jail for either running a pyramid scheme or three-card monte game.

Just reinforces my recent move to drop the “(R)” next to my name after 25 years or so & change it to “(I)”. So glad I’m no longer associated with the (R)etard party. The recent MSM swap of the traditional red & blue party coloring to tag the (R)’s with red instead of blue is starting to look a bit prophetic.

Of course it will increase jobs. Just think of the regulatory, bureaucratic, BS, worthless government jobs that would be created to administer this POS idea!!!

Just think of the bigger, more controlling, more expensive, more litigative, more powerful government we will have with this new bureaucracy of useless government employees! /s

Just what we need.

A new government bureaucracy to control people lives and regulate/administer/punish/litigate the private sector and business world.

And the RNC puts this on their website? Have they lost their collective (no pun intended) minds? I thought this was a joke.

Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.

My Letter to the GOP:

Dear Mr. Duncan,

I didn’t think there was much more the GOP and John McCain could do to alienate their conservative base (amnesty, campaign finance, out of control spending, etc.). Clearly, I was wrong. With more and more evidence and public opinion contradicting our ability to warm or cool the planet, you folks have gone off the deep end for one thing; Politics. This used to be the party of Goldwater and Reagan. If we could only tap the energy being created by those two spinning in their collective graves, we’d solve our energy problems. Oh wait, I have an idea. Why doesn’t the GOP get in the trenches and start fighting for; 1) drilling in Anwar, 2) drilling in the Dakota’s, 3) allowing refinery to be built in the USA (remember us) which hasn’t been done in over 40 years, 4) undoing a Clinton executive order that bars Utah from mining the largest clean burning coal deposits in the world ( can you say Riady, sure you can).

I can trust a liberal, because I know where he’s coming from. I can’t trust the GOP, because the RINO’S are running the party and I don’t know what they stand for anymore.

Sincerely and with great sadness and disappointment,

John Haines
Lake Orion, MI
Former Republican and current Independent

Ps. No more $
