CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (myfoxatlanta.com) -- A burglary suspect is in the hospital after a Riverdale police officer shot him.
Police say the suspect broke into the Foot Locker on Highway 85 Tuesday morning.
Police responded to a burglary call around 5:00 a.m. and found a silver Escort station wagon parked next to the back wall of the building.
Police say the back wall had a huge hole broken through the wall, and the vehicle was filled with various items in boxes.
Two suspects ran away, and one police officer drove his squad car closer to the station wagon without realizing a third suspect was inside the vehicle.
The suspect then hit the gas, which pinned the officer between the two vehicles.
Then, the officer opened fire and shot seven rounds, five of which hit the suspect.
The suspect suffered two shots to the chest, two the neck, and one to the right arm.
The suspect was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center in stable condition. The officer is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
Police are still searching for the two other missing suspects.
I guess he’s a registered Democrat then. Probably means, alive or dead on election day, he’ll be placing his vote for Obama. Some Democrat will probably consider it their civic duty to vote for him.
(Actually, he probably has a higher probability of casting a ballot if he’s dead.)

That suspect is either very lucky or the officer needs to consider a caliber that starts with a "4". How this guy wasn't DRT, I can't begin to understand.
So??? If Ted Bundy had a sticker for a republican politician on his beetle, it would not have meant squat either.
