The crack research staff on crack at GOP HQ somehow missed that Change You Deserve is the marketing slogan for Effexor, an anti-depressant.There. I fixed it.

If I were new to the country and language I’d probably be pretty convinced by all this talk that ‘change’ was a commodity that could be purchased by the dozen, pound, or cubic foot.

Don’t compliment this by calling it a rant. It’s a knee-jerk reaction (again, unless she knows something that we don’t and is unwilling to share).

She ain't gonna be endorsing Barr any time soon: The Bob Barr candidacy
By Michelle Malkin May 12, 2008 09:34 AM
Many readers have e-mailed asking what I think of former Ga. Rep. Bob Barrs presidential candidacy (hes making an official announcement for the Libertarian Party nomination at 11am this morning).
Two words: Not much.
On immigration, hes virtually indistinguishable from all the other remaining presidential candidates.
On homeland security, hes joined with what Heather Mac Donald calls the privocrats in whipping up unfounded hysteria about intelligence-gathering efforts in a post-9/11 world.
On Iraq, hes what Allahpundit calls the poor mans Ron Paul.
And doesnt the ACLU, for which Barr consults, already have enough candidates in the race?

It wouldn't be a great slogan in any year, but it's awful this year.
Back to the drawing board.

Through our Change You Deserve message and through our American Families Agenda, House Republicans will continue our efforts to speak directly to an American publicAll right, gentlemen. I'm the Public--"speak directly" to me--What are you going to do about the border, about drilling for domestic oil and gas, about taxes, about the corn/ethanol fiasco, about the North Koreans, and the Iranians, and the Syrians, and the Saudis. I'm listening, schmucks. Speak to me.
To: FrdmLvr
I don't know. I have a feeling I won't be voting in November since no one much cares what I think. None of the candidates reflect my values.

unless she knows something we don'tMichelle Malkin knows a great deal the typical Team Juan shills (and/or their willing online apologists) do not.
That's the problem right there, actually.

The “change we deserve” is to take a big old vacuum cleaner & suck every single politician out of Washington DC! Put all new people in there - people that have been living in the REAL world - FOR A CHANGE.

I respectfully disagree with Michelle Malkin. The GOP is the party of change. They have gradually changed over to socialism.
