Obama: McCain Represents A Third Bush Term (Obama Is Lying. Facts Show That This Contention Is False

Obama declared that McCain would carry out a "third Bush term"...

"No matter what the costs, no matter what the consequences, John McCain seems determined to carry out a third Bush term," Obama said.

And on and on and on Obama lies and continues even now to beat the drum that McCain represents a third Bush term.

There are some things that Bush and McCain agree upon, but there are some things that they don't agree upon. I will give seven reasons why McCain does not represent a third Bush term.

Gitmo, McCain-Liebermann, McCain-Feingold (Which Bush thought about vetoing but didn't), Waterboarding, Earmarks (Bush stunk in this area, but McCain said that he will make the bill signers famous), Man-Made Global Warming, Gang of 14.

There are a few other things besides these that Bush and McCain do not agree upon.

If Bush and McCain agreed upon everything or just Iraq, Obama and the Democrats would say that McCain represents a third Bush term. No matter what, they will say this.

IMHO, John McCain leaves much to be desired but, regardless, it is still a lie to say that he represents a third Bush term.

But it is truth to say that voting for McCain is just like voting for a DemocRAT.

The voting populace will settle this. They’ll choose the true DemocRAT over someone “reaching across the aisle” every time.

We’re in for a dark 4 years no matter what happens.

Obambi represents the first McGovern term, except McGovern had balls.

Are you trying to convince FR not to vote for McCain. Other than the Earmarks, the Majority of freepers is on board with the Bush Administration rather than McCain.

Obama, like his namesake 'Baraq', Mohammed's flying horse, intends to deliver the White House to the Islamonazis
based on his own words.

Obama: "I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems".
Obama: "I will not weaponize space."
Obama: "I will slow development of future combat systems... "
Obama: "I will institute a 'Defense Priorities Board' to ensure
the quadrennial defense review is not used to justify unnecessary ...."

Obama tries to say that he will be a uniter and unite liberals and conservatives and Dems and Reps.

Fact is, is that McCain has reached across the aisle to liberal Democrats, but Obama hasn’t reached across the asile to conservative Republicans.

How many bills - in comparison with McCain - has Obama co-sponsored with conservative Republicans?

None.

So, Obama lies when he says that he is a uniter. The only thing that Obama will do is unite all liberals.

At least McCain is a conservative is some areas.

In some ways, it would be better to have a quasi-Dem (McCain) because of SCOTUS nominees, tax policies, the War in Iraq.

Better he than than a hard core socialist left-winger (Obama).

Either way, we are in for a dark 4 years.

Yes, I think it can safely be said that McCain is a lot worse than Bush, as your points suggest.

OTOH, Obama is a lot worse than Jimmy Carter.

Obama represents terrorist sympathizers, and a failed method of government that destroyed the Soviet Union after enslaving millions. How can this fool be considered a serious candidate? I just don’t get it.

I am on board with the Bush administration in alot of ways. Some I’m not - just like alot of the Freepers here.

Really, though, the purpose of this thread was to show that Obama is a liar about McCain representing a third Bush term.

Ears will diss McCain, but McCain intends to impress the undecideds how more mature he is by not fighting back.

Meanwhile, Islamic nutjobs looking for virginity, will murder millions of American citizens, but President Ears intends to impress the EuroTrash Elite how more mature he is by not fighting back.

I agree.

John McCain has a lot of baggage that Obama and MSM can use - adultery, Keating scandal, abandoning our POW, his health, his mental lapses, lies, etc. Cindy is turning into a liability also with her refusal to turn over tax records. ("Cindy McCain's 'privacy' charade," Editorial, The Washington Times, May 14, 2008). He is creepy enough without also have a creepy wife, and polls indicate she is not well liked.

This off-topic, but it concerns Obama.

Why don't we seize the opportunity provided by the MSM's cramming of Obama down our throats to permanently de-claw the IRS?

This post (<-click), while addressing taxes, helps to explain why government "leaders" like Senator Obama are actually in contempt of the Constitution that they have sworn to defend, foolishly following in the footsteps of FDR's dirty federal spending politics. In fact, the article referenced below shows that Obama is the #1 federal spending proposer in the Senate for '08; Clinton is #2.

Obama, a big-shot federal spender
The people need to reconnect with the Founder's division of federal and state government powers. The people then need to wise up to the major problem that the federal government is not operating within the restraints of the federal Constitution, particularly where constitutionally unauthorized federal spending is concerned.

The bottom line is that the people need to send big-shot, Constitution-ignoring federal spenders like Obama home as opposed to trying to send people like him to the Oval Office. The people need to get in the faces of the feds, demanding a stop to constitutionally unauthorized federal spending while appropriately lowering federal taxes - or get out of DC.

Both Obama and McCain are bad. I cannot find one single reason to vote for either. Both are for amnesty and open borders - that is selling out this country. Both even voted against the Cronyn amendment - that is insane. McCain sent Cindy, who refuses to release her tax returns, to meet with radical Muslim Hashim Thaci.

McGovern was a WW II pilot who flew a B24 in Europe. Can’t fault him on that score.

McCain is dopey. He won’t fight back until he’s losing.

Maybe it’s breathing at high altitude which softens their brains.

I am no fan of John McCain, but the alternative is much worse.

Clearly Barry Obama feels he can’t beat McCain straight up in the general election. So he is trying to beat a lame duck president instead.

When all you are is an empty suit, I guess this is the best thing he can do!
