Obama calls a Michigan reporter "sweetie" when asked what he would do for the workers at the auto plant he was visiting... odd.

Well, the end of the world has now begun.
What guy calls anyone “sweetie??”
I bet she gets a sit down with Obama now. The sweet young thing deserves it.
I'd gladly call a male 'honey' or 'sweetie' and it would mean nothing derogatory. It would be a term of friendliness and nothing more.
Can we all focus on Obama's socialist tendencies and not that he called someone 'sweetie'?
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. I’m just surprised that any reporter would even think to question Obama at all. They usually just parrot his lines.
She was none to happy about it, how sexist.
Well, was she a sweetie? Any pics?
Only arrogant a**holes do.
“I dont think its that big of a deal.”
Oh, I’m not shooting at you. I heard the story earlier on some news channel and they were all over it. You would have thought he called her something I probably shouldn’t post.
Or gay guys.
Well, maybe he thought he would sound tough and macho, which surveys have identified as important in those vast stretches of emptiness over which you are forced to fly while on your way from Manhattan, Center of the Universe, to some other important place, like Beverly Hills/s;)
When I was a little boy, people used “sweetie pie” as a term of endearment when speaking to a girlfriend or sometimes a child. But today, the press would only allow someone like Obama to get away with it.
The feminazis and the NAGS types may be pissed about this, but other than that, who cares...
Man the life boats!!! What a non story, I'm for calling every ugly reporter in the world sweetie, if it p**** them off. Ninety nine percent of them are to dumb to know if it is raining.
My friend’s girlfriend calls me sweetie.
Dunno why, but she does.
I’m with you. I regularly get called “dear,” “gal,” “honey,” etc., and I don’t think it’s insulting at all. It’s just the way a lot of people talk here in southwest Missouri.
It would be funny if this became more controversial than his “10,000 dead” statement after last year’s tornado.
Or more controversial than his 57 states comment.
Think of how Quayle suffered just for adding an e on potato.
Also what he calls John Edwards. True story.
Oh, and how is he going to help the workers at the plant? Simple...ah. Raise taxes? Tick off our trading partners? Yeah, stuff like that.
This ties in nicely with the crack smoking/homosexual rumors. This is going to be a fun election.
What guy calls anyone sweetie??

It’s a Barack thang....you wouldn’t understand.
I dont think its that big of a deal.
We’re Freepers around here. This “hold on a minute Sweetie” thing is Trivial Pursuit. Let Chris Matthews kick it around for a month or two. Maybe it will send another tickle up his leg.
Gets even better,

Obama Apologizes for Calling Michigan TV Reporter Sweetie
.
Did Mr Clinton ever apologize to Monica?
I take it most that have posted here did not watch the exchange. She asked a legit question and was blown off by Barry with his Sweetie comment. His handlers then refused the question later. It was basically, I’ll get to it later Sweetie.
You wouldn’t think a white guy could call a brother “boy” and get away with it. Why do you tolerate a grown professional woman unknown to the candidate being called Sweetie.
As a father of girls I don’t want anyone man dismissing them with a “put them in their place” reference. And I am from the south where people like to attach terms of endearment. This was not the place, person or time for it.
Obama Calls a Michigan Reporter “Sweetie” ~ the reporter was a MAN...baby!!!!
for lib/dems...that is Ok...but if the reporte questioned b. HUSSEIN on anything...the reporter would be RACIST!!!
I’d gladly call a male ‘honey’ or ‘sweetie’ and it would mean nothing derogatory. It would be a term of friendliness and nothing more.
Are you both deliberately myopic?
Of course its not unusual for a female to use such terms.
Obama, as far as I see, is a male, and pray tell, when was the last time a causual male called you sweetie??
Men do not use such terms as the small change of conversation outside of intimate encounters. Ask any male. - who isn’t gay. - or an Obama supporter.
Okay dearie? (deliberate improper usage)
“Hold on Sweetie. I just wanna eat mah waffles.”
B. Hussein Obama is getting in touch with his inner Richard Simmons.
Honey, I'm not. The contractor who is painting my house addresses me as "gal" routinely. It's just the way he talks. I can tell from his manner and the tone of his voice that he means no offense, and I take none. If he spoke to me in a derogatory tone of voice or grabbed my a$$ while calling me "gal," then I would be offended. In cases like this, the delivery is more important that words themselves.
Gal is normal.
“Sweetie” is gay. ;^)
It also ties in nicely with Women Threaten Obama Boycott
This has been one of the best primaries I've had the pleasure to watch. Watching the MSM, rat party and rat voters stomp on Hitlery's throat while she writes another million dollar check to her doomed campaign has been all that I thought it could be...3 cheers to Rush and Operation Chaos for extending her misery!!!
