Nets Excited by 'Major' Edwards Endorsement to 'Create One America'

Trumpeting the “major endorsement” from John Edwards for Barack Obama, the day after Obama was trounced by 40 points in West Virginia all three broadcast network evening newscasts led Wednesday night with the “dramatic” announcement of the “political prize” that gives Obama a “major boost.” Katie Couric returned at the end of the 6:30 PM EST CBS Evening News feed to reiterate “our top story tonight” as she effused over live video of Edwards speaking at the rally: “John Edwards endorses Barack Obama, saying he's one man who knows in his heart that it's time to create one America, not two.”

ABC was so excited that its 6:30 PM feed of World News went live at about 6:40 PM to Grand Rapids, Michigan for 90 seconds of Obama introducing Edwards, compete with a Bruce Spingsteen song as Edwards bounded on stage. Gibson then acknowledged:

Timed for maximum exposure, timed to coincide with the evening newscasts, timed to give Barack Obama a needed boost after his bad defeat yesterday in West Virginia. George Stephanopoulos, this is the kind of publicity that you can't buy.

Indeed, no need to pay for it when ABC News is eager to give it to you for free.

I rarely watch ABC news, but I caught this broadcast and was surprised how much free coverage ABC devoted to this minor event.

Well, sure. The entire Obama Bubble is a media synthesis. There is really nothing there at all, otherwise.

They could have picked someone at random from the phone book and done the same thing.

Consider some of the absurd, preposterous candidates that have appeared the last few election cycles.

Io, Saturnalia!

Minor! Edwards was the loser of the Democratic Primaries of 04. He became #2 guy on the losing ticket that year. He then went on to run a dismal 3rd in the Democrat primary of 08.

How the hell is that minor?

Mr 400 dollar haircut ambulance chaser can start building “one America” by voluntarily giving away all his wealth until he lives at the median income level. THEN we’ll listen to him about doing the same...

Last night on O’Reilly, Dennis Miller described Edwards as a vehicle for a haircut to get around on.

I think this blog post is petty. Hillary had beaten humiliatingly Obama 2:1 in a semi-battleground state and was trying to resuscitate her campaign that was on life support via the media, and Obama was able to counter with a roundhouse kick to her head via the media with the Edwards endorsement (something that Hillary really wanted— and it actually seemed in public appearances that Elizabeth Edwards, his wife, strongly preferred Hillary over Obama).

Edwards was the last man standing before the field finally narrowed to two people and both candidates spent a lot of effort behind the scenes to get his endorsement, so he’s a significant endorsement for Obama.

The Nets are the committed propaganda organ of the marxist DNC. They will actively and openly suppress any and all information that might harm their ballerina darling Obeyme. Even Pravda wasn’t this conspicuous. Our Republic is facing utter distruction.

Maybe you answered your own question?

Perhaps 'minor' was the wrong term. I was referring to the over coverage of ABC news on this event. They spent 10 minutes overing this announcement that could have been summarized in 30 seconds.

I was joking. Of course it’s minor, very minor. Sometimes sarcastic humor doesn’t translate to written word very well. LOL

America is too divided, says Obama

Headline: Ninety-two percent of blacks vote for Obama

"Edwards"

If he were any lighter, he'd need weights to keep from floating away. He'd be listed above helium on the table of elements.

When Saddam Hussain got 95% of vote, everyone laughed. When Barak Hussain Obama gets 92% of black vote, MSM just ignores it.

BTW, even Brit Hume was saying "honorable John Edwards"!

I missed that segment but was wondering....since Bill cannot say a bad word about Obama but clearly detests the Breck Girl, what will Bill do if Barry chooses the BG for VP?

The Panel did conclude that the Breck Girl's endorsement was “no big deal” and that it was only announced yesterday to cover up the fact that Barry got slammed by Mrs. Clinton in WVA.

Create One America? What? After 40 years of multiculturalism and diversity they’re telling us we need to become One America? The dream of creating a Socialist America never dies, does it?

Diversity and multiculturalism are nothing but a ruse. An attempt to teach Americans to be ashamed of their heritage. And now I have to add the obligatory note, sure we’ve made mistakes in the past but the U.S. is the greatest country in the history of the world - very few close seconds actually.

Multiculturalists encourage moral relativism.

Diversity mongers encourage dissent among the Citizenry.

And now, today, we done ain’t goin’ to join no One America under the likes of Obama or the snivelling Edwards... Who besides that dullard Katie Couric even believes than nonsense?

I think multiple states secceeding from the Union is more likely. Give California back to Mexico. Let Texas become the pround independent Republic is once was. South Carolinians are already daydreaming about seccession because of the widespread teaching of homosexuality and pro-abortion propaganda. The New England states could from one small socialist state - it’s in their heart of heart anyway.

Bigger isn’t better. Normally, bigger means your diluting your stills. Imagine a small winery with 60-100 year old vines producing 200 cases of fine wine every year. Now think of a wine factory producing 25,000 cases of cheap wine every year. If they joined as one, the fine wine would be so diluted with the cheap one it would be unrecognizable. Well. the states are the same way.

So, let’s forego this immature collectivistic one America nonsense and become 30 different independent Republics with NO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT control as originally intended and if the founding fathers didn’t intend it’s because they thought we’d always be freedom minded people. This doesn’t apply to the socialist state of New England (formerly Mass, Maine, Vermont and Connecticeut - I left our New Hampshire because the spark of liberty still burns there.)

Yours truly,
The Woim
