Attack of the Mutant Republican – The Candidacy of John McCain
Snyde Comments ^ | May 15, 2008 | Tom Snyder

Date: May 15, 2008

Listening this morning to Sen. John McCain outlining his plans as president, should he win the November election, I wanted to shout things like, “Drill in Anwar, you moron!” and “Liberals are liars – we don’t want you to work with these leftist lunatics!”

It has become clear that, like President George W. Bush, instead of leading the country into true conservative policies, Sen. McCain is another wimpy Republican who tries to combine radical social engineering politics from the left with a few watered-down Republican, conservative principles.

Some Republicans have been calling people like Bush and McCain RINOs, Republicans In Name Only. I would like to suggest another name – Mutant Republicans.

These people are not just Republicans In Name Only; they are mutant hybrids. These Mutant Republicans have been indoctrinated by the Crypto Communist rhetoric of the mass media, the journalism and legal professions, judicial activists, America’s labor unions, and socialist activists in the business community and even the Church and the Synagogue. All of these American institutions, to one extent or another, have been taken over by radical Marxists, atheists, feminists, homosexual perverts, pagan hedonists, and other anti-Christian, anti-Semitic bigots ignorant of history and biblical theology, especially the principles of Truth, Justice and the American Way.

Conservative Christians like James Dobson have been fighting these radical leftist loons for decades, but Republicans like President Bush and Senator McCain have been surrendering territory inch by bloody inch. It’s sickening how wimpy they have become!

It wouldn’t matter if only a few of the issues that McCain touched upon today had only a minor effect on life in America. The problem is, however, that McCain and his liberal cronies in the Congress and the institutions mentioned above are directly responsible for the high gas prices, the home foreclosures, the violent illegal alien gangs, drug lords and criminals, the homosexual pornification of our schoolchildren, the high taxes, the high food prices, the leftist dumbing down of our schools and universities, and the loss of religious liberty that Americans and their families have been suffering from so acutely recently.

What is perhaps even more galling is that Republicans like Bush and McCain for years have been warning us about the dangers of Iran’s Islamofascist government, but all they do is talk and propose wimpy military action while America’s soldiers and citizens continue to be killed and murdered by bombs and weapons supplied by Iran and its nutty Islamic lackeys.

It’s time for conservative Republicans, Christians and Jews to read the riot act to Mutant Republicans like McCain – either lead the country and its people, including its children, with conservative values, or get out of our way!

I'm coming to the point where I hope Hillery or Obama wins, just so the right party gets the blame for all the fall out caused by the liberal agendas all three of these candidates are pushing. I wont vote for McCain, I'll be throwing away my presidential vote on a pointless protest write in.

The Republican party needs to do some SEROIUSE house cleaning. Lets start by loosing our asses in the General election.

What should make people really mad is how our leaders are laughing at us. How they think we are the morons and we can’t do anything about this disgraceful election; along with changing these predators by not electing them or kicking them out of office or stopping their lying and cheating schemes to bring America down.

Just think about it.

I actually got an invite today from the Republican Trustees of I guess the Republican party, asking me to pay $25 for the privilege of telling them what's wrong. I think they need money. Can you believe it? What trash these people are.

Dobson is largely to blame for giving us McCain. He single-handedly knocked Fred Thompson out of the race with his not-quite-off-the-record "Fred is not a Christian" comment when Fred refused to kiss his ring on bogus RTL and DOMA amendment positions.

Instead, Dobson propped up Huckaphony, split the conservative vote and created the opening for the Country Clubbers' choice of McCain. I will NEVER forgive Dobson for his vain, selfish amd STUPID antics.

If McCain loses, the cheerleaders will be saying, "see, you right-wing nutjobs blew it for the GOP with your hardline rhetoric, alienating group X"

If he wins, the cheerleaders will be saying "see, you right-wing nutjobs need to support moderate, reasonable candidates like McCain in order to attract needed votes from group X."

invest that $25 in MREs and ammo. we may / will need it after this election, as American borders will be erased regardless of who among the Chosen Two win.

You do realize Fred has endorsed McCain? If he’s good enough for Fred why isn’t he good enough for you?

The Republican Party is in the process of doing some long overdue house cleaning: namely dumping bitcons like you.

Here is an article conservatives should read to help them put things in perspective:

Conservatively speaking, McCain's the man by Len Munsil, Republican nominee for governor of Arizona in 2006

Send ‘em one half of a dirty dollar bill and ask ‘em, “How’s your a$$?” If they get mad, tell’em, “Yo momma!”, which trumps everything.

Observation: McLame would be a mutant no matter which/what political party he belonged to.

I’m going to vote for him (urrrapp!)because the alternative is just too toxic to consider....like “Night of the Living Dead” !

So very true, bro.

And while I can't give any advice on the Presidential vote because I feel the same way, at least you'll have the choice of some conservatives in the other offices come November if there's any solace in that.

Hang tight and stick around. We need to stand together even while the Republican destroy themselves in their supreme idiocy.

Oi Antonio! Just how are you helping to unite conservatives by attacking FReepers for their doubts? Where is there even the slightest amount of actual thought involved in that?

Ruination and Chaos_5, we ALL have our doubts, even JimRob does. What we need to do is understand that we each have our valid concerns. Keep the debate open and civil and do what we each need to do when November comes.

Ignore the attacks. You never know when it's a legitimate Freeper or a troll trying to break us apart.

*sigh* Thank God it's Friday. We all need a "weekend" at this point.

It will be interesting if McCain is elected, how much of what he says now will remain the same after his term is up. A lot can happen in 4 years.

#1 He wants to work with anyone to accomplish things.... even to reach across the table. A noble gesture I am sure but I think that is a impossibility. McCain being a republican, McCain being the president, McCain to many view McCain’s presidency as Bush’s 3rd term, would clearly make McCain their enemy and everything he THINKS he knows about democrats would fly out the window. I don’t think there is any cause greater to force McCain right of center than the pure crapping he’ll get from the left.

If McCain gets crapped on half as much as Bush have been crapped on these past 7 years, that’ll just about to do it. The left will not only attack him, they’ll attack his wife, his kid and everyone else he’s associated with and that will be for starters. If I remember correctly, Bush wanted to make a bipartisan effort to accomplish things as well and we all know how well that all worked out.

#2 environmentalism sounds like a noble cause and even might look good on paper but it is in a lot of ways a luxury this country can not afford at this time. It is way too costly in money and jobs. He’ll need to decide which is more
important, jobs or environmentalism, you can’t have both and I think if the chips were down, he’ll choose jobs.

#3 When McCain calls harsh interrogation methods to gain information from terrorists torture, it is totally ill responsible thing for him to claim. I believe an president faced with a nuclear bomb going off in a city like New York or getting a terrorist a little wet, we would have a wet terrorist and that is as simple as that. I think high mindedness will take back seat to the thousands of lives or even hundreds of thousands of lives.

People might on the outside looking in, but actually being a president, with the full weight bearing down on you is a whole other matter.

Besides, I don’t care if it’s McCain, Obama or even Hillary, none of them can do jack as president without going through the congress and Senate first.

My big problem with a lot of you anti-McCain people is, it is likely that the republicans would lose more seats in the senate and congress this time around and if Obama becomes president, there’s nothing stopping him from turning this country into a Marxist heaven for years to come.

Some of you say you can’t tell the difference between Obama or McCain... I am sure Obama would just LOVE the chance to explain it to you.

Based on what?

I don't think he understands the two are related. Big government types think government can solve all problems, including the ones that government caused.

Unfortunately I have to agree with both articles. Most of our so called conservative reps in congress have become so wishy washy that more often than not it has becomes hard to tell whose song book they are using. Then they are wondering why true conservatives are expressing their disgust by either withholding their vote or leaving their party altogether.

Any more I am reaching the conclusion that it would be just as well to let a true socialist like either Obama or Hillary gum up the works with bigger government and higher taxes, as the socialists have done so in the past and get the blame for it, instead of Mc Cain who is a conservative by name only and people not knowing any different blame it upon conservative ideology. The quicker we reach the point where people begin to scratch their heads and begin to wonder as to where did we go wrong the better.

It is too bad that way too many people forget that the greatness of this country was based on conservative ideology and not on socialism nor do they understand or comprehend the nuances and follies of socialism and need to have it demonstrated to them over and over that it never has worked in the past nor will it ever work in the future, at least not in the long run.

It looks like the dems will take both houses of Congress, if McCain is the pres. he won’t be able to get jack done. I think whoever is elected this year will be a one termer, because they all are pretty bad. Senators becoming President, yuk.

Out of the three, I think Hillary might end up governing as the most conservative. If you told me 10 years ago I'd be saying that about any election, I'd have thought you were crazy.

Because some of us don't blindly follow the direction of every leader we admire. We admire Fred's unapoligetically conservative philosophy, not his choice of friends.

If he wins, the cheerleaders will be saying "see, you right-wing nutjobs need to support moderate, reasonable candidates like McCain in order to attract needed votes from group X."

The only candidate able to attract group x voters in the past 30 years is Ronald Reagan. Off course, if Reagan had never been heard of before, many on this site would dismiss him as a right-wing nutjob.
