People get investigated by the Secret Service for making jokes and comments about assassinations/assassination attempts. And they should be. There is a fine line between somebody stupid enough to joke about it and somebody stupid enough to do it. The latter get arrested the former get elected.

Now that is funny! (and true unfortunately).

ding ding ding ding ding! We have a winner! I'm sure the NRA does not appreciate this sort of attention.
Especially if the Democrats end up in full control of Congress come January (and potentially the White House). The NRA does not need that kind of attention at all.

Somehow I missed the story about Huckaboob shooting over reporter's heads in IA. There is the kind of guy you lie to and say you have tickets to the football game the weekend you're going hunting. I think that is way worse than Cheney's hunting accident.
Actually I wouldn't lie to someone who showed me that he played games with firearms I would exclude him from my life to the greatest extent possible.

If I recall correctly, Huckabee even made a snide remark about not bringing Cheney along on their little hunting trip because he wanted to survive.
I'm with you, I would definitely not hunt with Cheney or Huckabee. They've brought a lot of embarrassment and negative attention on hunters and gun owners.

The Dem nominee will be the target of Dems. All the Presidential assassins have been, within the framework of their times, leftwingtards ~ all rather like Michelle Obama in fact.
He has more trouble at home than he gets from the Republicans.

Did you ever think that the real problem here is that you’re just another humorless apparatchik?
To: af_vet_rr
Yeah, right, Fred will make McCain look 10 years younger (bwahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1)
To: prairiebreeze
Didn't I just catch you over there on an F(lds) thread defending Warren Jeffs?
How utterly strange.
To: af_vet_rr
Not only that, it wasn’t even funny.

The MSM will not use anything against the NRA that they haven't already used. They're fat, dumb and happy behind the high walls of their heavily guarded fortress-like newspaper buildings, so whadda' they care.
I would imagine they take it serious ~ that Obama, in fact, would leap for the floor if he heard something like a gunshot.
Some of them will intone sonorously that "Only a racist would have had him seeking cover behind a brick or concrete wall"
To: af_vet_rr
Again, there's no way the NRA's reputation can be damaged in the eyes of the MSM.
Think about it; what does the MSM call the NRA, what do MSM pukes think of the NRA.
The MSM won't even realize there should be a controversy here.

It's not expected this will lead to an antisemitic campaign such as was conducted by the Warsh Post against Senator Allen's mother after the "macaca" moment.
You guys keep forgetting what "macaca" was all about, and it wasn't the Indian guy with the funny haircut (although another Indian guy up in Montreal who had that same haircut had only recently gone on a rampage with firearms and shot several dozen people).
The little puke should have been tackled and hauled away for questioning first time he showed up with that haircut, and that queer guy who employed him, Jim Webb, he should have been questioned too.
Did Webb, who is a known free-lance gun nut, intend to assist the Macaca fellow in firing on Republicans gathered to hear Senator Allen?
So many questions, so little time.
BTW, go back to your master now and tell him I used the word "queer" and the name "Webb" in the same sentence. He'll understand.

You’re hardly a real human being unless you relish fried squirrel.
To: af_vet_rr
Well I’m sorry. I disagree with you about Cheney. I’d hunt with him any day. Accidents happen and I don’t think there is anything there for hunters to be embarrassed about. Statistically hunting is safer, by participant hours spent, than soccer or roller skating.

My word, how many times will McCain and Huckabee be required to apologize for this remark. I guess this whole weekend we hear the indignation of the RATs and their media. Of course, Huckabee is a total loser but then so is McCain.

Absolutely idiotic thing to say. I saw the video and people didn’t laugh. Remember that when the MSM says otherwise. God help this country if anything happens to this man.

Well, as the ads say, “I am the NRA”.
I know I don’t appreciate it.
Making a joke out of political assasination is the lowest sort of... I hesitate to say “humour”, because it is not funny.

I watched the video as well, but I have a feeling the MSM will cut it off and not report that the NRA members found the joke to be in poor taste.
