What is surely undeniable is the imperative need to defeat Hezbollah, and that America and Britain will either help bring that about -- or will help strengthen it instead through continuing to pursue their lethally misguided strategy of appeasing Syria and Iran.

Okay, since it’s a usable source, I’m posting a topic. :’)
Pres. Bush says great things -- especially now -- but he is poorly served by his affirmative action hire, Condi Rice.
She is captured by the State Dept. despite the fact that she was supposed to represent her president's interest against them.
It puzzled me too. “Bush” refers to George Herbert Walker Bush, US President from 1989 to 1993.
Whoops, wrong topic. Thought it was this one.

Melanie Phillips is criticizing the lack of action in support of Lebanon by the UK (her own country) and the US, which has contributed to a disastrous apparent takeover of much of the weak Leb government by the Hezzies.
Her criticism seems legitimate and consistent with what I know of her positions in the past. She is a staunch conservative on Western defense policy and strong foe of Islamic terrorism. In other words, she is unquestionably coming from the right. Plus, she doesn't even mention Bush's speech to the Israeli parliament yesterday, let alone critique it.
Saying that she's a "media spindoctor" is quite inaccurate. I'm sure that the lefties who dominate the media are, generally speaking, not her political bedfellows.
Thanks justiceseeker. Guess what her words are gonna be used for (y’know, by people not quite as in the dark as me)? :’)
Bush is the appeaser, HECK YES HE IS!
The Iranians have been killing Americans for years without President Bush doing anything against Iran, nothing at all.
To bad but its the truth, why is the question.
Really? Appeaser? Did he reward Iran for this? Did he lift sanctions? Did he sign a peace treaty?
