SAN FRANCISCO, May 17 (UPI) -- California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger told the San Francisco Chronicle's editorial board he backs a court ruling upholding the right of gay couples to marry.

Schwarzenegger tried to clarify his sometimes confusing stance on gay marriage in the wake of Thursday's ruling by the California Supreme Court finding that same-sex couples should have the right to marry in the state, and said that he supports the decision.

"First, I have always said that for me, marriage is between a man and a woman," he told the newspaper. "But I don't want to make everyone else go in that direction."

For those who don't already know what a CINO is, it's a "Catholic in Name Only"

Maybe RINOld should try reading the Bible starting with the book of Romans.

I believe marriage is a universally binding concept. Red Arnold doesn't think every one should acknowledge it exists as meaning only between a man and woman, period. I'm afraid he's lost his way on right and wrong for good.

So, the gov of kalifornicatia does not support the will, and the votes (several) of the people that elected him. Go figure.

Maybe he’s just following the argument “Why should only straight people be punished”?

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger told the San Francisco Chronicle's editorial board he backs a court ruling upholding the right of gay couples to marry.

Hypocrite. He loves to portray himself as only dong what the people want. But the people voted lawfully, they spoke against same-sex marriage, and were usurped by the judicial dictatorship. Arnold is siding with an unconstitutional decision, against what the people voted for. He's no RINO, he's just another egocentric politician that thinks he's a demigod.

I got news for Arnold: The backlash against this decision is going to be massive. The people of CA will vote against same-sex marriage again, but this time put it into their Constitution.

The GOP needs to grow, so some folks have the bright idea to give it cancer.

Leftward, RINO soldiers!!

The only sane reason to support the ruling is to hope that homos from the rest of the country will congregate there, in a form of voluntary segregation (or like building a toxic waste dump) (or like flies to turd). Unless you are in California, in which case you should oppose this ruling and hope some other state is interested in collecting hazardous material.

Didn’t Arnold butt bang a few bodybuilders back in the day? Or, is that just a “rumor”?

I really don’t know whats happened to Arnold these past few years. I keep thinking of that line from the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers... “That not my wife. That not my wife!”.

“I really don’t know whats happened to Arnold these past few years?”

And just what did you expect?

I don’t know where you were in 2003 when Larry Elder exposed him on the airwaves and I and others exposed him on FR. Ya just can’t be a “fiscal conservative and a social liberal” simultaneously...ya gotta pay for all those government programs some how.

I think I remember Hannity, among others, saying something like “he’s conservative enough”. Hannity and the rest of the talking empty heads are whores who have done much to hurt conservatism.
