US House speaker Nancy Pelosi visits Iraq May 17 08:01 AM US/Eastern By SINAN SALAHEDDIN Associated Press Writer BAGHDAD (AP) - U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a top Democratic critic of the U.S.- led war in Iraq, met with the Iraqi prime minister Saturday during a surprise visit to Baghdad.
Pelosi went into the meeting with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki shortly after arriving in the Iraqi capital, a government official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to release the information.
U.S. Embassy spokeswoman Mirembe Nantongo confirmed that the California Democrat had arrived and said she would be meeting with senior U.S. and Iraqi leaders.
Pelosi's visit comes a day after she led a bipartisan congressional delegation to Israel to mark the 60th anniversary of Israel's founding.
Pelosi has criticized the Bush administration's strategy of taking a "pause" before deciding whether a major drawdown of U.S. forces in Iraq was warranted, advocating a faster troop withdrawal.
She also has led calls for the Iraqi government to contribute more financially to the reconstruction of the country.

Each of her traitorous cohorts probably autographed them such as Feinstein, Schumer, Reid, Kerry, Obama, Hitlery, Kennedy, Murtha, etc. (too many traitors in the US Congress to list them all here aka the “surrender, hate-America crowd). These gutless, spineless scum are a national disgrace.
Not to mention it doesn’t help having a woman in a leadership role making an appearance in Iraq considering the culture’s view on women— a nutty woman at that.
Keep dreaming... her district is about as anti-USA as they get. As for Congress, forget it. Given recent election losses, it just seems like a majority of the rest of the country has pretty much given up at this point.
Would it be too much to ask that al qaeda kidnap her and send us video of her pleading for her life? That would be amusing.

I'm not sure what purpose Pelosi's visit serves, but it might give her a wake-up if she were to sit down with Big Ray Odierno, Crocker and Petraeus and get an earful of Reality.

Pelosi is probably trying to meet with Al Qaeda so she can get their endorsement for Obama. Next, she’ll go to Iran with her supply of Liberal white surrender flags. She’s, obviously, Hussein Obama’s point person. In other words, behold traitorous anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-military Liberal human waste in action.
