THE UN WILL DECIDE IF AMERICA IS RACIST
NEALZ NUZE ^ | Monday, May 19, 2008 | NEAL BOORTZ

Posted on 05/19/2008 6:36:50 AM PDT by Turret Gunner A20

The United Nations has taken it upon itself to investigate the American presidential campaign.

Why does the UN have such an interest in our election? Because since Barack Obama is black and will be the Democrat nominee, the United Nations wants to investigate whether racism plays a role in the presidential campaign.

Excuse me, but just when did the UN get the authority to become involved in our national elections?

Will this be enough to generate a groundswell of opinion against this rancid organization? Probably not, and that's sad. It's time for the UN to go .. go anywhere but on American territory.

The UN investigator will be looking "contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, and related intolerance" during a two week tour of the United States (and Puerto Rico). He will be talking to government leaders but also community members, academics and people working in the field of racism and discrimination (ie. Al Shapton, Jesse Jackson). If there is anyone out there who doesn't firmly believe that the UN will issue a finding that the US electoral process is racist ... well, you need help.

Do you know we actually agreed to this? That's right. The US apparently accepted the investigation because we need to lead by example and be open to outside investigation. What a complete an utter waste of time. We are becoming a world where a black man could be the most powerful person in the world, and yet the UN insists that racism must play a part in his campaign.

There is a reason why on 9/11, the al Qaeda hijackers chose the World Trade Center as their target in New York City, and not the U.N. headquarters building.

After all, why would they attack one of their anti-American ALLIES?!?

Here is the link to the New York Sun story Boortz was quoting:

This sounds like something from The Onion. I seriously wonder if this is for real.

Racism DOES play a part in Obama's campaign. No better example exists that that of Rev. Wright and the fact that 90%+ of blacks will vote for him.

~~~~~
When???
Seems to me we were reading this same bs just four years ago during the 2004 election season w/the UN sticking its ugly face in our business as usual, that time it had to do w/voting fraud if I recall correctly. Probably that wasn’t the first time either. Yet here we are again w/all these pseudo-outraged responses feigning surprise and anger at such a thing.
Ah...the conditioning really works, doesn’t it!
Just keep on grabbing over and bending yer ankles, folks.
Hitler was racist. I've never met a racist. Bigots on the other hand are quite common all around the world.
Racist:
a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
Bigot:
One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
Hopefully the UN nannies will issue their “typical white Americans cling to God, guns and xenophobia out of lack of government largesse” comment before the election, so we can have a backlash.
But the weenies probably don’t have the guts. They’ll just tut-tut after the fact.
You gotta get your mind right, Rick...
The 90%+ support Barack Obama gets in the Black community represents the floor of support that any identifiable group would offer to his candidacy, because he's just that wonderful. Since there is no racial animus toward Obama in this community of voters, the 90% is the baseline that exists without racial animus.
Therefore if only 42% of Whites vote for Obama, the inescapable conclusion is that 48% of Whites are voting against Obama because they are filthy racists...
You just have to be logical about this stuff.
Well then, can we at least move them to Alaska, or the middle of Nevada? Judging by the reports of the amounts of unpaid parking tickets they manage to rack up, they should be delighted with the prospect of all the free parking space they want.
I have nothing against you. In fact this might be good for you. Spending your life sitting in a windowless room with a shotgun doesn't sound like much fun. This will give you an excuse to put in a window, and something to shoot at through it.
I don't have the documents at my finger tips, but technically we signed that authority over to the UNO in 1945 and in several subsequent protocols. Why? Because the American citizenry has been bamboozled, and we have ceased to be a sovereign nation.
Our states gave up their sovereignty to a national government ruled from the District of Columbia, rather than retaining their rights under a FEDERAL REPUBLIC, evidenced by no Republican president using the word “Republic” to describe us anymore, but rather ever calling us a “democracy” and helping to create thereby a one-party state.
This has all been necessary to surreder our Republic to the UNO, with all of its conspiring multi-national organizations, NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO, and on and on.
Throw the UNO out? Yes, and I would think it would be time for Americans to rise up hard to this cause.
2 different questions here.
1. is there anyone in the US who is racist?
2. is the US racist?
Number 2 is a false question because countries can not be racist or non-racist.
What they mean is this: if we find even ONE person in the US who is racist, then we go around saying “the US is racist”.
That would be a reasonable thought.
But I have a contrarian view: it shows that there are a lot of
white liberals (with submerged racist feelings) that vote for
Obama in order to feel good about themselves.
When Obama entered the race, I said to myself "He's gonna' be
big in MN (Twin Cities) and WI (Madison, etc.)".
These folks are sort of like Al Gore's father: vote for the
Voting Rights Act, then vote against the Civil Rights Act.
This was explained thusly: he wanted "people of color" to vote for
him, but not move in next door.
Since there is no racial animus toward Obama in this community of voters, the 90% is the baseline that exists without racial animus.
IMO Obama has injected race into the campaign, largely as a way of inflicting white guilt, which may not be successful, but an offshoot has been racial polarization. Note a few of the articles below.
Poll: Black support helps Clinton extend lead - CNN.com, October
Black voters support Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama in poll--November
Black lawmakers rethink Clinton support - Hillary Clinton News--February
How Hillary Clinton botched the black vote | Salon May
The 90+ of the black vote supporting Obama didn't develop until the campaign was well underway.
Part of it might be definition of terms, racism certainly has a negative connotation, and if you don't want to define a black voting for a black as racism, that's fine. At the same time, while his pastor brings his judgement into question, he still belongs to a Church which among it's tenets require members to use their talents to work for the advancement of Africa and Africans in the diasport, and to disavow middle class pursuits. In the absence of a condemnation of his Church and it's racist belief system, that's a legitimate reason for a white, who he might not be able to represent, to oppose him. Which isn't racism either.
There is a long, involved explanation for how black racism is not "racism". Near as I can say, after sitting through numerous re-education seminars on the subject, is that "racism" is the combination of prejudice with power, and since black people are, by definition, powerless, they cannot be racist, and their prejudice is irrelevant.
When I point out to the moderator of these re-education sessions that for somebody with no power, he has been keeping me captive and spouting nonsense for an awfully long time, I am invariably pegged as a inveterate racist in need of additional work.
Someday I am going to learn to sit down and shut up!
A useless canard, imo used solely to deflect legitimate criticism of racism. Ironicly racism frequently being used to amass power.
