No real difference. Amnesty is amnesty.
Capitol switchboard toll free number is 800-965-4701.
Vail Resorts, which runs Vail, Beaver Creek, Heavenly, Breckenridge and Keystone resorts Is directly behind this part. They hire almost 60% of their seasonal work force under H-2B and J-1J visas. It is about time that they were forced to pay REAL WAGES to Americans.
We beat the McCain-Kennedy bill twice last year because Americans told the Senate who their boss is. Time to beat them again. Do not let these corrupt officials get away with this underhanded legislative trick.

I already called. I was told that it is NOT an amnesty it is a pathway to citizenship.....then she hung up on me.
This proves that we have lost control of this country. Government of, by and for the people is just an empty statement now. We need to take it back and we can still do it but it will take hard work and dedication to turn this around. Our votes alone won’t do it. Our senate and house do what they want and could care less about the people of this country if they can gain power by their actions. Let me tell you, if we had real conservatives in the republican party, more of them that is, this wouldn’t have been allowed to be attached to any bill, let alone a military funding bill.
There is a difference, but in this case it is truly amnesty to the path, because the 5-year clause makes them eligible for citizenship.
If it was three years, and included a provision that excluded them from citizenship, then it would be the “guest-worker” provision, rather than an amnesty-citizenship provision.
Call back. Ask what a "pathway to citizenship" has to do with Iraq funding.
My first question to her was... What does an amnesty for illegals have to do with supplemental funding for Iraq?
Call back.
Tell them your message is for the Senator exclusively.
Tell them at this time, you are NOT engaging in a debate with them-—you are AGAINST a pathway to citizenship.
Do you have a bill number for this?
Is it pretty much the same as what Feinstein/Craig introduced in 2007 (S.237/S.340)?
That bill also made aliens qualifying for their new “blue card status” exempt from prosecution for identity theft and other fraudulent acts.
I called the local office and the gal was very nice.
The first call was to the D.C. office.
And, of course I will call back. They don’t scare me :)
Damn----you're tough (grin).

Keep in mind that constituent messages for lawmakers are protected by several laws.
So if this person flips you around, she may be breaking laws.
Phoning working before and it will again. Let’s get going!
See 24. We must take action again.
If Feinstein is sincere, and the GOP were to respond sincerely, they would find a compromise as they did in 2006 with Hagel-Martinez and 2007 with touch-back.
Myself, I think it merely campaign strategy.
Remember no vote for McCain is a vote for Obama, and thus for even worse amnesty.
No, it's not, adn your GOP scaremongering tactics aren't working.

Jeff Sessions is addressing the Senate on this right now.
