Who doesn't love Ol' Blue Eyes? A veterans group irate about Frank Sinatra being honored on the House floor instead of GI Joe and Jane, that's who.
Vets for Freedom, a group that espouses nonpartisanship, is bent out of shape over the legislation Congress is choosing to tackle this week in the waning hours before lawmakers take off for the Memorial Day holiday recess.

Von Ryan would be appalled.
We should feel fortunate that the rat congress didn’t praise Che and Himmler.
Ol’ Blue Eyes Not So Hotra never served but he sure wore a uniform a lot in the movies.
And before anyone flames: Jimmy Stewart, Clark Gable, and many others of Hollywood who were combat veterans.

Don’t forget Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, Tyrone Power, Eddie Albert, Charles Bronson, George C. Scott, Leslie Nielsen, George Kennedy. Not only great actors but also great patriots.
Thank you for completing that list.
Lee Marvin never let it be known that he went ashore at Iwo Jima and was wounded.
`Course now we have to watch the Japanese point of view of Iwo Jima on cable TV. So sorry the U.S. Marines interrupted their flower arranging and haiku classes.
