Nothing there but a traffic light, Molly’s bar and road up to Slim’s compound.
My favorite eateries in Albuquerque are La Placita and Little Anita’s.
In 1995, I stayed in one of those 1940’s-era motels on Central Avenue down near the Rio Grande and found it to be clean, quiet, and fairly decent.
Trail Rider pizza (in a single wide next to Molly’s) got 3 stars in the Journal restaurant reviews.
I miss the Chuck Wagon Cafe, it had a room with nothing but John Wayne posters. Burned down when the thrift store next door went up.
I would not stay there now, unless of course you like meth and hookers
No thanks. When I stay in a motel, I want the three B's--bed, bath, and Bible.
